I still don't understand why samukai isn't there... It's just a Krazi look alike, very disappointed.

It's not a Krazi look-alike, it's the actual Krazi in a new costume. And he's probably there because Samukai isn't a part of this current wave, even if he may be appearing in this story arc.

I thought it was krazi, but I didn't know it was confirmed. Must have been because I haven't looked at the box art for the ronin set.

I just hope samukai makes it into the winter wave of ROTV sets.

Are you just speculating that there will be another wave of ROTV sets...or....

"Amazingbricks, do you have something that you would like to share with the group?" LOL!

It would be nice to see samukai back again

I picked up Lloyd's NRG Dragon yesterday (amongst other things) and it's fantastic.

Really great selection of pieces, a lot of exclusive elements I believe.

Here's my video review.

Thanks for the review! Certainly getting this wonderful set. :sweet: What you mention in the video about the combination of an excellent build and many new pieces was exactly what I experienced with the Master Wu Dragon. Back then, I counted 77 different pieces that were new to my collection in that single set!

That was one set that I had missed out on (obviously still time to get it)...

Next review is up, again, really loved this one, Titanium Ninja Tumbler.

Maybe it's another summer wave where the numbers are before the last wave, who knows.....

It most likely is exactly what you're saying it is. I can't imagine, if these sets are indeed based on the movie, that they'd be released over half a year in advance.

I can't imagine there being a a January or March release of sets for a movie that comes out in September.

However I could see a "Final Battle" sized wave for the Winter Wave just becasue it had to be made so quickly due to the oviedo being set back.

Edit:Ninja'd

ROTV and the ninjago movie are two seperate things...

We're getting the movie sets with a few ROTV sets.

Maybe it will be like bionicle with the baddie sets being released later. That would make sense for the lack of them in the 1st wave of ROTV.

What do you mean by "lack of them"? All of them are there but Samukai and Morro. They're not cheap, but theyeah there...

I think he means sets focused on villains, of which there are none.

Gothca. I just question what more can be done with the Villains.

It's a good question. Of the villains represented, the only real vehicles are the Chenosaurus (an amazing model and a good way to make up for never including Chen's chair in a set) and the Skeleton Mech (which is small but serviceable). The Nindroid faction, Stone Warrior faction, and Serpentine faction (as represented by Pythor) do not have any sorts of vehicles. If sets tied to this story arc do continue into next year, then those factions could conceivably either get new vehicle designs or vehicles from the TV series never represented as sets, such as the Serpentine Mobile Fortress, Stone Warrior Tusk Invader, or even untransformed versions of the Nindroid vehicles which the Ninja hacked with their Techno Blades.
