Oh right! The only other weapon that kind of gets it right is Cole's scythe. There was one with a curved blade on it, which kind of looked like a dragon.

I wish LEGO would make a Ninjago: Masters of spinjitzu collection which would basically be all of the characters, each in a different outfit, that is completely accurate to the show. Faces, printing, armor... And weapons.

After seeing how the deepstone armor looks in the show, I found the clear colored weapon holders to be very nice looking. Just imagine if that was what we got...

I hope the Movie sets will bring us all characters with multiple accurate expressions (per fig) and cool weapons, rebooted versions of old ones or complementing the Four Golden Weapons for the other elemental masters.

What coloured weapon holders do you mean exactly, can't seem to find them on screenshots.

Oh my bad there was a article on brick fan that said "they will be announcing some products for The LEGO Batman Movie as well as The Ninjago Movie." I might have jumped the gun on it

Perhaps something similar to the yearly SDCC reveals? Although, I think, at least with Ninjago, It'll probably be just design/minifig reveals. I would be extremely surprised if the final sets were official enough to be seen in public. I mean we are still more than a year away from the movie's release!

Well, the movie was originally supposed to be released in September this year, and we already have set numbers, so they could be finalized. But who knows, I could be wrong.

I say it's a bit too early to reveal a ninjago movie set, it's being released later than the batman movie and that's getting a set reveal. Later in the year we'll have more details on the movie sets and minifigure series :)

I sure hope so, at least something that gives us a good idea of the turn that Ninjago will take.

I doubt the movie would utilize show accurate expressions, mostly because it doesn't seem to be in the show's style. But this might actually be our way of getting characters with almost no relevance in the show now.

Sword holders in the sets are weapon holders in the show, since they're just flat circles that hold any weapon by having it magically stick on to it. Here was the weapon holders in Possession:

If this is real, then we're certainly in for an experience vastly different to the show...

These are most likely partly preliminary, but it seems like a re-imagining of the team as we know it.

Pretty sure the suits and everything about these figures are prelims... The hair looks preliminary, the outfits are rough, and I'm sure they'll look better by the time we get our first trailer. Hopefully.

I agree... but I won't judge the movie by its voice actors... and even if it is different, having Jackie Chan in the cast list makes me respect WB and TLG not whitewash the cast. On the otherhand I checked out how the voice of Jay would sound like and it is not far off.

lol but really though, I'm not familiar with most of the actors there, but I suppose this could make sense. After all, the ninja are supposed to be in high school. So I guess in this sense new voice actors can be justified.

One thing's for sure though, the movie is probably a seperate canon... The only possibility is time getting warped in the "last" season, or a different universe entirely. At least the show will continue, I think.

But if the show is going to take changes from the movie... It may get rewritten

Why didn't they just get the voice actors from the show since the show's audience already knows and loves them anyway? Do they really feel that having more high profile voice actors is going to attract new people to the franchise that wouldn't have been attracted if they kept the old cast?
