The US' is as lackluster as you'd expect outside of the minifig sets. Quote

Personally I wasn't too broken up about the prospect of him being exclusive to Toys R Us, since thanks to the new policy of Lego Brand Retail stores not stocking Toys R Us exclusive sets, there are still several sets of that sort on my wish list. I much preferred that to the uncertainty of not knowing when and how the fig would be distributed. Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 I'm really starting to hate these store exclusives. They seem to only help keep a lower supply. Quote

Peppermint_M Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 We don't get much in the UK... The magazine may provide the figure at some point, but it is not 100% going to happen. Cube exclusives are a pain too, we don't get those or the figures in them. Quote
Tobias_Jay Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Something interesting and rather cool I found with my recently purchased Ultra Stealth Raider, and I apologise if it's already been mentioned. One can easily fit all six ninja in the vehicle. As opposed to the last Ultra Sonic Raider that could only fit two . Quote
Mandate Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Probably one of the best features of the set, really. IMO it's superior in every way to the old Sonic Raider. While it's still ludicrous to call a tank like that a "stealth" raider, compared to how over the top the Sonic Raider was I can't say it's entirely inaccurate. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted October 6, 2016 Author Posted October 6, 2016 I think its labeled "Stealth" becauseit breaks into four. Kinda like a devide and conquer. The new one is very cool and the only thing i really dont like is the fact that the air vehicle only has one wing per side. Quote

Maybe it's not supposed to have wing mechanics. Maybe it just uses thrust and jets. I dunno. Quote

Well the teaser for Day of the Departed showed it having a sort of glider similer to that of the Ultra Sonic Raider. I was planning on MODing it accordingly. Quote

Exetrius Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Next issue will have a duel propeller plane thingy; rather unexciting but it fits the Skybound theme at least. Quote
OC_Architect Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 WooHooo! For those in SoCal and specifically near the Downtown Disney Lego store location they currently have the Temple of Airjitzu set on sale for 50% off. Picked one up for myself. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Wow! and to think my $95 bucks for the cave was a good deal. Dang man! That's awesome! Quote

That's awesome! $25 off is still a pretty decent deal for a set that is for all intents and purposes brand-new! The Temple of Airjitzu is a great set but it's also a year old by now, so it's perhaps less surprising to see steeper discounts. Quote

That's awesome! Yea, been pretty lucky about picking up some pretty good sets on some decent discounts lately. Of course I did my fair share of paying through the nose as I also picked up the Disney Castle on the same day. The only saving grace is that we have a lot of VIP points and am hoping to pick up Jestro's Volcanic Lair for free sometime early next year. Just barely starting to get in to Ninjago due to the ride at LEGOLAND and the kid getting a little bit more interested as well. Not sure what will happen with the Temple though as it is such a big set. May just display it or let the kid run rampant with it and destroy it. Really like the pirates theme as there are some really fun looking builds out of that. May try and pick up a few of those once they start to go on sale around town. Have a few of the polybags and I really like those little builds - kooky pirate fliers to say the least. Really fun and fun minifigures that come with it. Mandate Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Just bought the Rock Roader. Came without a sticker sheet, but the set is easily one of my new favorite sets. Was worth the bike crash I had getting it home Quote

Didn't think they sent them out but got a brand new one in the mail. Quote
just2good Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Like Nexo Knights, Toys"R"Us has a weird version of the Salvage M.E.C.H. listed - the fan pack version. The only difference I can spot is the set number and that little tag, which is hard to read. Piece counts are the same. I heard there's also one of the Rock Roader coming. I think it says "See Back Of Box," which isn't helpful. The website doesn't list what's different either. Quote
TheBrickPal Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I just got Ultra Stealth Raider on Sunday, and built it yesterday. Must I say, it is fantastic. Maybe the best Ninjago vehicle set of all time. And the minifigure selection is absolutely superb. Anybody else agree? Quote

To be honest, I think a 100€ set will need to be extraordinarily good to be considered the very best. I haven't built many Ninjago vehicle sets, but I have to say that I think the Rock Roader is unmatched in the Ninjago range, due to its value for money, building experience, awesome look and lovely features. Faefrost Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 A heads up for anyone in the Orlando/Disney area. I don't know if this is a one day thing, or what the deal is, but the Disney Springs LEGO store (formerly "Downtown Disney") has the D2C set 70751 Temple of Airjitsu on deep sale for $99 today. (Down from its normal $199) My wife insisted I grab one at that price. So half price, plus double VIP points. That's what we call a win/win Quote
