It's not Toxikita or Tox. Tox didn't have a bone in her hair, and Toxikita only shares visual appearance with Tox.

It means that in that area CM4 couldn't make out what was there. Probably a flag pole or something, given the space constraint.

I'm curious about the monkey's gun. Is that a stud shooter with a chain attached to the projectile?

I know that Toxikita is probably a placeholder, but I would like to get her in this set anyway.

I wonder if NinjaJayNuva just means the white in the bottom part of Jay's mask with the Dragon.

These all look really cool! I'm kinda getting a City of Stixx feel from the island set. But that's a good thing! Also first Ninjago Bigfig!

Also I do want to remind yall, Simon, the director or overseer of Ninjago, said the new suits would be the coolest ones so far! Sobim pumped!

If the monkey makes it into the final product, I hope it's an updated design with printed eyes. This year the LEGO crocodile and shark were updated with new designs that featured printed eyes, and I'd be thrilled if the monkey were next in line! I almost always prefer LEGO animals with printed eyes — if LEGO "humans" can have printed eyes, why not animals? Especially when said animal is one of humans' closest genetic relatives!

For those who have access to the catalog...Hope you don't mind a couple more questions!

1. It has been reported that the set boxes are red. Can you tell if they are the same shade of red as the 2015 sets or is it a darker/lighter shade. Just curious if Lego is going to keep the boxes red as an "Evergreen" color for the theme or if they will continue to change the box colors every year like they have so far.

2. Does the catalog list an official release date? Is it specific (i.e. January 16, 2016) or general (i.e. January 2016). Just curious if there is a chance for a North American release prior to Christmas. Even if it's a January release, they will probably be released in Asia (and therefore on Ebay) in December.

3. On 70601 and 70605, can you tell what the ships armaments are? Do they have any stud launches/stud-Gatling-guns/spring missiles? Does the turret in 70605 have any of these or is it just a "pretend gun" that swivels?

4. on 70605, Sci mentioned that the turret in the rear looked to be part of another ship (that I assume would be able to detach from the main ship). Can anyone else tell if that's the case? Does the other pirate flyer look like it can dock/attach to the main ship?

Good point, I am hoping for a update too. The old one looks fine, but not among all the new printed-eyed animals. I come to think of it, the parrot is also pretty much the same mould as when it was first intoduced.

So, about the Jay Dragon.... I... I think... I think I've fallen in love! It may turn out better than the Master Wu Dragon, if that is even possible!!! Someone stated that it is 'yet another remake'. How can you say that with such words, I mean, we've had MANY dragons, but in terms of building experience, Ninjago dragon design is better than ever before, this tops everything! The original Lightning Dragon was undeniably a beauty, though...

Normal red with Jay on them.

March for all.

Already shown 70605. 70601 will come tonight.

70605 - by that I mean there is one of these small boats:

with a turret. Assuming the dock can have the other flyer on it, don't see why it wouldn't.

I should mention this, the 'snout' of the dragon is one of those small mini creatures from Hero Factory's last wave, the top half.

Yeah I mean that and I can't wait for the first Ninjago big fig too! Edited by NinjaJayNuva

Looking pretty good. Cole's mini-dragon will be an instant purchase, just a shame they couldn't have released it in another wave so it could be bigger. Not sure what to make of the Sky Shark, though.

edit: Sorry, almost forgot. Thank you very much for sharing these with us, CM4Sci. News has been a bit scarce around here, and you've helped make the wait a lot easier :classic:

With all these brick-built dragon I am beginning to think that the original dragons have become oblivious already. Those older dragons were hardly even mentioned in the show.

Well, I didn't like those moulded dragon heads anyway ... but what about those collectors who collected the original dragons. How do you feel about this?

Thanks for the last drawing CM4Sci. So Coles Dragon looks like ghost dragon from Blaster Bike set. Ninja Bike Chase is s good lokiig albeit simple set. I like that we get Water Ninja Nya in 20$ set instead of 120$ in ghost wave, and pirate on jet pack looks great. Sky Shark stands out on it's own. It's like a small plane? From your description earlier I thought it was more pirate-looking plane, but it kinda looks futuristic to say the least. Dynamite drooping feature seems cool, and Lloyd is included in the set, but we can't see bad guys of the set for now. Overall after seeing all your drawings my favorite sets are Black Widow Island and Raid Zeppelin, so these 2 are day one purchase for me, also I really like Ninja Bike Race and Sky Shark sets( so these 2 are my secondary purchase). Not sure about Jays Dragon though. It's a good looking one but I need to see official pictures to make final decision. Overall great looking wave! Lego is really stepping up their game in making Ninjago sets.

Yeah ninjago has been getting better brick wise but plot wise it got worse.

I find that the plotline is still quite interesting, and steadily improving. Anyway, thanks for those awesome drawings, CM4Sci. Looks like it'll be another pricey wave.

Wait. You mentioned that they used the top half of the Invasion from Below Jumpers as the snout of a dragon. Which dragon and where? I can't see it.

Jay's dragon, on the snout.

I disagree. The Preeminent, Morro, Garmadon's death, etc were all forgettable. Season 5 didn't even follow the rules it had set up for its own story, a number of plot elements were tired rehashes of stuff that's been done too many times beforehand (loss of powers, possessed/evil character Gollum conflict, etc). None of the build-up payed off in the end, and despite some explanation regarding NINJAGO's more confusing moments almost, if not every, unexplained plot device from both Rebooted and the Tournament of Elements was left unexplained. NINJAGO's story isn't not improving, it's stagnant.

Well in that case, it leaves room for improvement. In my opinion, though, Season 5's concept was good, but the execution was somewhat uninspired.
