PenPlays Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 The name of the pirate captain might be Nadakhan . The source of this is about the TV show so I'm not going to post it here. I assume that, if this is the villain's name, he must want to become a Khan, but, sadly, he's... "not-a-khan" I'd leave it with that, but I wouldn't be surprised if that pun was intentional on the writer's part. Quote

Peppermint_M Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 IT is vexing, but with all the pictures taken away, all we have are the discussions. Exetrius Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) So, let's head back to the set discussion I wonder what kind of captain the pirates have. From looking back at the drawings, I can't see a fig that looks like a captain to me. Just the (cool!) generic pirate, the Venomari pirate, the samurai bigfig, the (regular?) samurai guy and the four-armed ghost-ish...thing. I hope the captain has some key pirate captain elements and fits in with his crew. (I picture a black strawhat, captain Soto kinda face, cape with Skybound emblem, torso/leg print: black (open and decorated) coat, wearing samurai body armor under that.) I just realized why the Skybound flag looked familiar, could it be...? Also, what happened to the emblem next to Ghoultar? After it was teased at SDCC, I haven't seen it anymore. Edit: resized pics Edited October 18, 2015 by Exetrius Quote

They all become swag pirate ninja (pinga) or something? It could explain Kai's outfit in the polybag. Speaking? What's on Kai's chest anyway? It doesn't look like his lion logo. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted October 18, 2015 Author Posted October 18, 2015 Possibly his fire emblem, but it doesn't really look like that. Quote

Zergos Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Wow the figure count is quite low for the mid sized sets. It's interesting none the less. Can't wait to see pictures of the sets eventually :D Quote
Mandate Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) Looking forward to Tiger Widow Island now. Always loved home base locations over mobile bases. edit: Where were these found? Toys R Us Canada's website. Link to Tiger Widow Island Edited October 19, 2015 by Mandate Quote
benderisgreat Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Wow this descriptions are really cool. As said above, I am curious why most mid sized sets have only 2 minifigs. Tiger widow island swapped Kai for Cole which is interesting development. Zane is once again exclusive to one set, which is weird. But the rest of the ninja seem to have at least 2 sets with their minifigs. Overall I love this descriptions and can't wait to see pictures to decide which sets I am going to be buying. Quote
DraikNova Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Djinn blades seem like a weird name (why the middle-eastern mythology all of a sudden?), although it makes a reasonable amount of sense considering the original djinn concepts (incredibly powerful spirits trapped by sorcerer). Also, Squiffy is the best name ever. The rotting fish piece sounds interesting. Nice to see that Jay's dragon has spring-loaded shooters. Also, turns out I was right about those disc shooters on Misfortune's keep. Quote
benderisgreat Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 It seems that show creators realized they made ninja too powerful with elemental powers. So now Djinn blades stole ninjas elemental powers to depower them again. Anyway descriptions are pretty similar to drawings we received couple weeks ago, besides a few small changes. Finally a big fig bad guy has a name, and he seems like he ain't main villain. Nadakhan from Misfortune Keep seems like the main bad guy if the wave. Can't wait to see pictures of new sets. Quote
CM4Sci Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) Green bandana guy is named Bucko? Probably the weirdest villain names yet. I'm really excited for the final pictures of these sets, hope my drawings were good enough for you guys! EDIT: Ohh, that's why the swords have ninja faces on them. Wait, the bigfig is female? 8BrickMario Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 It's not four-armed, but this figure claims to be Garmadon's ghost. I think it's a really cool figure, but it seems out of place now that the focus has shifted. I don't doubt that it's official, though. Quote
Aanchir Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Djinn blades seem consistent with the episode titles for the next season, which bring up wishing several times. Since Nadakhan is mentioned by name in an episode title and only appears in the largest set, he's probably the sky pirate captain. Love the pirate names! It's not four-armed, but this figureclaims to be Garmadon's ghost. I think it's a really cool figure, but it seems out of place now that the focus has shifted. I don't doubt that it's official, though. Yep, it's a custom. The person who made it also made a more humanoid version of the Preeminent. She's quite a talented customizer! Quote

Aw, too bad. I'm not that hyped for this wave, to be honest. While I like the steampunk idea, pirates don't interest me. I'll need pics to decide. Quote
