Maybe all there symbols went sea creature-y. While the new suits look great, I dont like the fact that Jays Symbol isn't gold like Kai's and Coles. Given that AirJitzu is on there chests, I reckon we'll see it play a big part again this season and hope for the best with more spinners in the summer wave.

That actually makes Jay more special. Also, the one sided shoulder pad make me feel like Jay is the captain of the ninja, can't wait to get the Jay's elemental dragon set !

Do you now have official images? Or is this just from preliminaries?

I have prelims.

Also, the main theme for the outfits the characters is orange and green

Huh. Not a fan of the color scheme. Orange and green? Really? I would have liked red and purple. At least we'll get (a) new ghost tail color(s)

I really like the colour scheme actually! Very refreshing! The Ninjago villains are always purple! Orange is very fresh as a villain colour, and great colour for an evil Djinn. That leaves room for a red evil Djinn to feature as in the CMF line. :classic:

At least the Stone Warriors were a break from purple.

Skullkins?

Sadly, it's really too bad they're not making any more ToE figs. Shade and Neuro would have been cool. I mean, they probably aren't even in the show anymore...

Skullkins?

Each and every vehicle had purple highlights.

It sounds like the Pirates will continue the trend of getting no-purple-baddies every 3 years.

I agree, it gives a nice exotic, sunny touch. And it fits with the persian/Indian ocean pirates inspiration

Is the only theme Sky pirates? As in NO underwater at all?

I let the PWR thing go a while ago, but I'd still like some underwater stuff. It obviously isn't showing up now, but I was thinking it could release like the Temple of Airjitzu.

I mean, if they don't add it, then they never can, since it would be too similar to pirates. They COULD do a line of ONLY underwater, but some would think Lego is just idea stretching. If there isn't underwater now, there will likely never be. Underwater wouldn't fit them anyway. Save it for Bionicle.

At this point, I wouldn't rule out any possibilty, especially with the realm thing. You never know what kind of secrets are waiting on the ocean floor of Ninjago. Remnants of the sunken Preeminent, an ancient city inhabited by water ninja, all kinds of stuff that they could do.

Ohhh, underwater ghost city...despite how crazy that sounds that would be awesome "Ninjago: Into the Depths"...rehash of some old Aqua Raiders and Atlantis crossed with Ninjago...wow for days!

Yeah, it would be EPIC. I'd buy a ruined temple with preeminent creature attacking (or just a giant squid). They would HAVE to add PWR suits.

BUT people will criticize Lego for milking their ideas instead of moving on. I mean, Pirates and underwater? They could have awesome sets, with underwater clan, temples and even a good story. The only thing that would be off is the combat. It would be too floaty unless it was on the ocean floor, with occasional water fights.

And let's face it, we all know that they would be nuts to not use the PWR suits here. What else could they possibly use? It's practically a free suit, all the designs are already worked out, they'd just have to transfer things.

"PWR" suits (can we please stop calling them that) will likely never make a physical appearance. After the concept art was found in the LEGO Universe game files they've spread throughout 3rd party knock-off sets and collectibles. It's the same reason why LEGO doesn't like prelims getting leaked, it would be incredibly easy for counterfeits to be produced.

Not to mention the PWR suits were ugly...they were big and bulky and I do t really think it fits Ninjago's Style...or evrf really did...

True, but they hold a special place in some of our hearts. They were knock-offs based on super cool designs for Ninjago kits in Lego Universe.

May LU RIP.

Almost everything in LU was super cool. :cry_sad:

Yeah, but without it, underwater combat will be very strange... But I see where you're coming from. What else could they use? An edited version of it that fits ninja style and it's armored but not bulky? If they use a light suit, they would not last long realistically.

There could also be more use of the deepstone Ronin mentioned. They could be swimming all over it.

yeah, there could be an underwater Deepstone mine and forge for example.
