Exetrius Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) Looks like it will be the old monkey mould, but in Dark bley Edited November 3, 2015 by Exetrius Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Omg Nadakhan looks freaking amazing! 4 arms, orange skin ponytail and ghost tale piece from Possession wave! Now I will be getting Misfortune Keep set for sure, just to add his minifigure to my collection! Also pirate guy standing next to him seems cool as well Flintlock was rumored name if I am not mistaken. Can't wait to get this sets! Also some bad news: new Dragon swords aren't new molded pieces at all! Just aeroblade base piece with 2 axe pieces and elemental blade piece, and ninja faces were printed 1x1 round pieces.Well I guess not everything about new sets is that exiting. But still overall this wave seems like a very solid one. Have you see official pics of the new blades. I dont doubt you, but the piece in the picture looks like it has a skull on in. And the base is more acute than the aeroblade. Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 The skull is just an attachment to the aeroblade. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 I don't know, it looks like a new piece to me, but I could be wrong. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 the Tiger Widow Island looks nice as well, but I was kinda hoping the vehicle would detach from the island.... Sorry to ask, were did you see it ? Quote
Exetrius Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 The skull is just an attachment to the aeroblade. How? Remember the aeroblade doesn't allow studs to be attached on the side, only 3 clips and 3 pins. Also, the Elemental blade is too short to go throug both the hypothetical skull piece and the supposed aeroblade piece hole. I think it's a new mould and LegendsOfNinjago has a point with that base. LegendsOfNinjago Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Sorry to ask, were did you see it ? The sticker book cover on the previous page. Quote
Exetrius Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 The sticker book cover on the previous page. That's Misfortunes Keep, right? Not Tiger Widow Island. Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 It does look like it could be new, but it would make more sense for them to reuse the Aeroblade. Who's to say the skull doesn't clip on? Although Nadakhan wouldn't be able to hold the blade in that way if it wasn't a new piece. I just want that skull to be its own piece, but it's not likely. Quote

It's not a hypothetical skull motif. It's there. A brand new mold for certain. It has only one spot to fit the blade into, and it looks like it has the handle for the blade molded into it as opposed to being plugged into/attached to it. The Aeroblades also have one side for a stud, by the way. Edited November 3, 2015 by Penkid11 Quote
Falconfan1414 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Wow those mini figures are amazing! Are those sets legit? Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Cool, I love it. Also apprently Summer NexoKnights numbers have been posted via brickset, so I'm gonna assume those names from brickset are legit...but I maybe wrong. I just hope it's assume continuation if the pirate storyline. I'm digging Nadakhan!! Quote

The Aeroblades also have one side for a stud, by the way. I did not say 'motif', I said 'piece', and it is indeed a new one for certain. And I know the aeroblade has a stud on the side, that one is being used for the 1x1 round tile. Do you mean the skull piece could be compares with the icecream cone piece; a pin on the bottom and a hole on top (to fit the blade in)? Quote

Now I am uncertain if this piece is new or just reused old one but whatever. The important thing is that this new wave may end up being one of the best in Ninjago history. Quote
gamejutzu Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 So, there's even more sets? Yet there are only 10 episodes every season. Seems legit. They could've just made 13. I'm even more exited for those other sets than the pirate wave if those are true. Hey, remember in the episode "peek-a-boo"? Zane said the sword of sanctuary wasn't the only power sword. He named a few more. a fire sword, a destiny sword, an invisibility and invincibility sword as well. And a sword of ruin. And since the pirates have such fancy swords, could those be it? The "collect 4" theme this time is definitely swords after all. By the way, that's definitely an octo. Now only Zane's (probably a cat of sorts) and Cole's are left. And his is really interesting. Dr.Cogg Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I thought the swords were called Djinn blades? Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 WOAH WHAT?! SAMURAI X CAVE?! SONIC RAIDER 2.0?! RONINS MECH?! AIRJITZU TEMPLE GROUNDS?! Lego now has all my money, let's just hope The Overlord is back with dark evil villains. This would be the best wave ever... Quote
Exetrius Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) Note that it is unlikely that all of these (location based) sets are big and detailed. I just don't want (us) to get all hyped up for things that turn out to be much less complete than expected. Admittedly, it's VERY hard not to picture Ninjago's best wave yet Edited November 3, 2015 by Exetrius Quote
DraikNova Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) Those set names seem like they're either fake or movie names, considering how many previous concepts are revisited (which seems like a strange move for LEGO). Since the latter has been ruled out, I'm going to be very skeptical of these. Also, while I love Jay's outfit even more and despite the fact that I like the new blade piece a lot, I've got to say that the face studs look rather silly, Nadhakan's colors clash horribly, and the junkyard aesthetic on Misfortune's Keep looks rather disappointing compared to the lovely craggy rock face look suggested by the prelims. Dr.Cogg Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) I wonder if Ronin's mech will be like the one in Shadow of Ronin. P.S.that's the bottom view of Misfortunes Keep, so the top probably still looks like a face, I'm not a big fan of how Nadakhan looks, he's to plain looking and reminds me of Goro from Mortal Combat Edited November 3, 2015 by Dr.Cogg Quote
Ninja of Fire Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Damn these sets are nice. Guess I'll be picking them all up. Quote

I agree. But the fact they they are up on Brickset lend a shred of hope...also with the pirate colors are all earth tones its works really well with each other. Quote
bricksfan Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Damn these sets are nice. Guess I'll be picking them all up. Yup. Most excited for the Samurai X cave and the Ultra Sonic Radar Quote
bricksfan Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 For all those talking about the new Jay face (including me), there goes our hope for the new face in early 2016. Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Nadakhan looks awesome! the hooks and the pony tail piece, and the sword. Sadly the pieces on the blades are face (I wanted the symbols) but I guess it's fine. this just further leads me to believe the powers aren't captured, but they themselves get captured. The big fig looks really cool too. Loving the colors of the bad guys too. the guy in the back with the mustache also looks really nice. the Tiger Widow Island looks nice as well, but I was kinda hoping the vehicle would detach from the island.... On that note has anyone seen these??? this is straight from Brickset..could these be real...if so why havent we heard of them? they aren't movie sets 70588: Titanium Ninja Tumbler 70589: Cole's Earth roader 70590: Airjitzu Temple Grounds 70591: Kryptarium Escape 70592: Ronin Mech 70593: Lloyd's dragon 70594: Watchtower Defense 70595: Sonic Radar 2.0 70596: Samurai X Cave Everyone thinks return of Ronin is awesome! But no! The return of Ultra Sonic Raider is what should be called awesome! Quote
