DraikNova Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I love that Nadakhan has a printed lamp, and I really like the face of the samurai-helmet guy with the tusks. And the Serpentine pirate...please explain, TV show! I'm not sure why you feel you need an explanation for the Serpentine pirate. Like the human, he's probably just someone who decided to join the crew. I've got to agree on you regarding the Stone Warrior-esque samurai helmet guy. That's a lovely bit of design there, as is the jagged sword. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) Pirate monkey! Why does the genie pirate have Kai's face on his sword? Edited November 5, 2015 by mediumsnowman Quote
Exetrius Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Picture on Facebook is a lot sharper :) Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 The story is that the blades are able to literally capture the ninja and their powers inside them. Quote
Garmadon Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Hmm, very nice poster, I'm particularly liking that zeppelin and the pilot pirate! Also, anyone else notice that eye patch on Jay's face? I'm really looking forward to these! Quote
Actor Builder Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Wow, these look really dark. I like it. I'm not really a fan of Ninjago, but I love wacky cursed pirates and stuff, so I may end up buying some of these. They look very good. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted November 5, 2015 Author Posted November 5, 2015 Oh crap he does have an eye patch! Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) Wow, Jay is in every season 6 thing I've seen. He's being heavily spotlighted, I like it. It sure does look like Jay has an eye patch. Edited November 5, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
Zergos Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I'm not really a huge fan of what I'm seeing. I dont see parts I could use for my purists. Though I'll wait til I see all the sets before final judgement Quote
ChristopheQ Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) I like them a lot. A bit strange that all the pirates except the djinn captain have some green gallons on the shoulders ? Edited November 5, 2015 by ChristopheQ Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 It's the same armor as General Kozu's, so it's just a color difference. Quote

LegendsOfNinjago Posted November 5, 2015 Author Posted November 5, 2015 Is that Lloyd on Coles dragon? Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Good eye! Just noticed this too. We might just get new headprint for Jay this wave. Thanks, do we know how many sets Jay is in? If he's in two, then I think the more expensive set would have the eye patch. Like Zane in the rebooted sets, this could work the same way. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted November 5, 2015 Author Posted November 5, 2015 He's in two. Everyone is except Wu and Zane. Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) Nadakhan looks good. I agree about him being too colourful. The one red arm is odd and out of place. Possibly a Disney-reboot C3PO reference? I wouldn't be disappointed if that was the case, but in the illustration, it is clearly something new, with a skull moulded at the hilt. Likely also a handle connection opposite the blade connection joint. I am also quite glad that the silly ninja head tile is not part of the blade/hilt itself, since that'd diminish the reusability of the piece and, really, ruin it for me. I believe the tile print is a little cameo usage of the classic Ninjago "Red Ninja Wrap" art, like the trading cards we saw in the last wave were a cameo of the early trading cards. (Also, it seems to have something to do with the Ninjas being trapped in the swords, but it's a nice little cameo. )I'm just kind of disappointed that it seems to be the same old LEGO monkey, more or less. That's actually the part I'm most hyped about. Too many parts get needlessly "updated," and it's wonderful to see the classic monkey isn't undergoing that. Wow, a lot of the sets are in here! Is anyone else hoping that the New Reddish Brown lightsaber hilt on the flagstaff is finally going to make it into a set in that color? Also, looking at the art, primarily at the lower left-hand corner - are those islands floating, or are they being ripped out of the ground, a la Avengers: AoU? SerenityInFire Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Looks like they're reusing Kozu's torso piece on the flaming sword guy. Quote

Dr.Cogg Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) I like the Oni face pirate, but Nadakhan still reminds me of Goro Edited November 5, 2015 by Dr.Cogg Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Real question...why does jay have the nunchucks of lightning? The golden weapons can possibly came back in this season, maybe that was because Nadakhan steal all their powers and the ninja realized they can't fight something have elemental power without elemental powers. So wu lead them to where the golden armor was hidden and reforge them. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I like the Oni face pirate, but Nadakhan still reminds me of Goro He certainly looks like he could have been an inspiration. The golden weapons can possibly came back in this season, maybe that was because Nadakhan steal all their powers and the ninja realized they can't fight something have elemental power without elemental powers. So wu lead them to where the golden armor was hidden and reforge them. Or, Nadakhan lets them wish for their golden weapons as part of some elaborate plan to "destroy the ninja," and they safely escape from his fiendish plan, both not destroyed, and with the weapons completely intact. That'd be a pretty typical Ninjago-style solution to the problem. Quote
ChristopheQ Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) Any clue on the story so far ? Jay who find the lamp and make a wish who summons the pirates or something ? "I wish there will be islands in the sky..." Edited November 6, 2015 by ChristopheQ Quote
gamejutzu Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) I always wanted the back armor to have 2 swords on one side. You can pull it off with the 2011 if you're VERY creative (don't ask), but this looks legit! And, I noticed that the islands ARE being ripped out of the ground! Why else would there be smaller rocks around it? it's possible that they rip a HUGE piece of the world out, serving as the main hub, with smaller islands around it?. Jay and Cole are the only ninja I see here. Are all the ninja captured? Is Cole unable to be captured? It would make sense if the ninja are all thinned down, leaving Jay alone. And, what did I tell you guys? That isn't a generic pirate appearing all the time? I knew the pirates would look diverse, but I was also expecting them to be human. That surprised me. And it turns out the symbols on the ninja are not airjitzu, it looks a lot like spinjitzu instead. The trading cards and other similar artwork depict spinjitzu in that exact same way. And those are definitely the Nunchucks of Lightning. They are golden nunchucks that are completely electrified. If they weren't them, it would look different. Like, the obsidian weapons, if that game was canon. Kai did say that Ronin left them in the mouth of a volcano, like in the game. Edited November 6, 2015 by gamejutzu Quote
