Thanks for digging that up. I agree, some of those ratios in the Galaxy Squad and Ultra Agents stink. I suppose they could be better for Ninjago 2016, but the figs that I've seen are pretty darn good so far.

Well, the minifigs in UA and Ninjago are almost extremely detailed (more than the usual anyway). And because of this, every fig is special. Maybe this is the case?

True for Ultra Agents, and the bad guy of Galaxy Squad where nice as well. And when the sets have cool play feature or mini-monsters, or strange trans egg pieces... the kind of replace minifigs...

But Chima minifigs where superb. and rather numerous...

The same for Ninjago 2015

And I would say Ninjago 2016 is not that bad, especially considering the djinn and the big minifigs we will got for an ok price...

That airship kinda looks like a skreemer...

And, I thought they would make their elemental dragons look similar to how they did in the show. I didn't think Lloyd's was that.. Small. Or had razor wings.

Wait.. If their powers are stolen.. Than how is Lloyd flying that dragon? Prior to the removal of their powers? If Lego cared enough to make it a set, than it must last for at least an episode though, so I guess they use their powers in Skyrate area.

And how to they get sent to prison if they still have powers? They would just literally break out.

Also, did anyone else expect Nadakhan to be an actual pirate? Like Blackbeard of the Mediterranean?

The dragon on the poster is Cole's 'dragon'. Yeah, quite disappointed in the looks of that one and it's inconsistent size.

That prison outbreak is exactly what happened in one of the episodes of last season!

Here's what I hoped for concerning the pirate captain:

I wonder what kind of captain the pirates have. (...) I hope the captain has some key pirate captain elements and fits in with his crew.

(I picture a black strawhat, captain Soto kinda face, cape with Skybound emblem, torso/leg print: black (open and decorated) coat, wearing samurai body armor under that.)

Nadakhan is certainly not bad, but he would be more fitting in a different rank or another wave.

Nice pictures although they seem to be preliminary. Noticed a few things already. 70603 looks a lot smaller than I thought -25-30$ looking set.Cole only gets ghost face in Tiger widow island which is more expensive set( figures). Dogshank looks cool with flags and anchor. Overall pretty accrue to drawings by Cm4sci. Looking forward to official pictures.

Mr. Hinckley, are we allowed to discuss the things that we saw that we were not supposed to see?

I'm not one to try and stop free speech but if this leads to "sketches" or PM trading of dealer catalog pics, I'll start suspending accounts.

Sorry. We've had pressure from LEGO about pictures this year which I will not share my opinion about but we've always been against prelim pictures and an entire dealer catalog should be obvious that it's against our guidelines. I find this really annoying and it has created a lot of extra work for me and our all–volunteer staff. I understand people are excited but when you get your hands on a dealer catalog, keep the fun images to yourself. Sharing them is just feeding your ego. You know a dealer catalog is off limits. If for some reason you don't know that, you do now.

Thank you for asking. And thank you to all of our members for being members and making our site successful and being passionate about the hobby. You're all very important to us.

YAY! Opinion time.

Cole's Dragon: I'm disappointed, but also somewhat content with what we have here. Sure it's small for the character that's been notorious for being strong, but hey, it has wings, and works as a cheap entry set to Skybound.

Ninja Bike Chase: Loving that Nya's getting Ninja love. Having Kai and her in the same set is pretty sweet too. I've been waiting for dark red vehicles, and the fact that Nya's vehicles also work well with her Samurai X gear makes it even better!

Sky Shark: Not at all what I was expecting. It's cool though! It looks like it has a bomb dropping function. I just hope that those treasure chest aren't the "droppers." The Creative Ambush set from the Lego Movie did not handle that well as the chests would easily open when touched. If they are more weighted down, then I'm fine with it. The sleek design is great.

Jay's Elemental Dragon: It's primarily blue and white, which is a color scheme that does not work well with Jay (or maybe the original Lightning Dragon attack spoiled me, not quite sure). It's about the same quality as the Master Wu Dragon, which is good. i just hope that when we finally get clearer images it will look more impressive.

Raid Zeppelin: One of my favorites vehicles of this wave. I fear that the balloon portion itself isn't a complete balloon. The Technic axle appears to be connecting to an apparatus inside the balloon proper. I hope I'm wrong though. It's a floating pirate ship. How can you go wrong with this set? The little vehicle for Zane is pretty cool too.

Tiger Widow Island: Day one. This set looks absolutely marvelous. It evokes a classic Pirate feel while still keeping it Ninjago. Ghost Cole is included. Dogshank (the big-fig) looks really impressive too. I'm curious about the details inside the building though. The Wu Balloon is cute.

Misfortune's Keep: It's certainly a clunky looking ship. I'm hoping for more features aside from the apparent poseable propellers and monkey ship. Nadakhan is in this one, so I'm going to get eventually, but not the highest on my list.

This is definitely a strong wave. Looking forward to it!
