Aanchir Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 (edited) Umm, not on my computer. Don't know what hax you guys are using, but there's only one Italian site that has them, and it says "page not found". Evidently you're wrong, because I'm looking at a site right now that still has preliminary images. Presumably the same one people have been talking about all day, which is different from (and has larger images than) the one people had been discussing prior to today. Hopefully we get official, non-confidential images soon, because it's frustrating talking in vague terms like this with people who can't even find what you're talking about. DuckBricks Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Wow, that's amazing! I'm starting to like this head better. Thought it was cool too, but the original prelim used a Hero Factory jumper head as nostrils which looked incredibly stunning... Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Does anyone noticed that Jay's elemental dragon's forehead has Jay's original elemental symbol on it? Quote
gamejutzu Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) people who can't even find what you're talking about. Al right, all right, I just realized more than one place had them. That's what got me. And if the sets are coming in January, than there isn't much time left anyways. Does anyone noticed that Jay's elemental dragon's forehead has Jay's original elemental symbol on it? It's the same one. It's just at a side angle. Edited November 21, 2015 by gamejutzu Quote
gamejutzu Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) What are those things on the face of the tiger widow head? Golden batarangs? And drill pieces for pillars? The "replacement" lightning dragon (poor Wisp lol) still uses separate handles. Why can't LEGO just make a bar like the show? Or better, the show use separate handles? Also, the weapon the monkey has is AWESOME. I never thought to make a grapple like that! And Cyren has the third Boulder Blaster this year. That disc on the raid zeppelin can be used as razor throws! Or giant throwers for Zane! After all, a giant shuriken and a huge kunai were not enough. Speaking of swords, if the ones on the side come in white, Zane can use them! And, did they make Nya's bike better than Kai's on purpose? The heck? On the bright side, since an entire set is dedicated to 2 motorbikes, we'll be seeing them in the show again! Aww, wat? Is Cole's symbol seriously a ape/gorilla? C'mon LEGO, STEHP ET AHP! Edited November 21, 2015 by gamejutzu Quote
BricksrDamian2 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Any word on the official Set prices? The misfortune keep set has wu trapped and jays new head looks more serious:o Quote

Take any minifigure and move their legs into a sitting position. Pose the arms anywhere in front the minifigure so that it doesn't touch its toes. Turn the minifigure's hands so that it can hold such a bar, for example, a lightsaber piece. You will notice that the minifigure's hands cannot fully grasp the bar, and therefore would be considered an "illegal" connection. And technically it's the first Boulder Blaster of 2016 And, did they make Nya's bike better than Kai's on purpose? The heck? On the bright side, since an entire set is dedicated to 2 motorbikes, we'll be seeing them in the show again! Nya needs a motorbike. I mean this set chalks down a total of four motorbikes for Kai alone. This is aside the fact that Jay has never gotten a motorcycle, and whether or not you would consider Zane's snowmobile from the Fangpyre Truck Ambush set as something similar to a motorbike as well. Although, I must add, Nya is special in the fact that she is still the only Ninja with a water vehicle (City of Stiix) in a readily available set. It's a shame too, as the whole pirate theme would have made us ready for some really cool water vehicles for the other Ninja. Edited November 21, 2015 by Penkid11 Quote

I mean this set chalks down a total of four motorbikes for Kai alone. Yeah, but that doesn't mean Kai's had to be so bad. I mean, it's not really, but in comparison to Nya's it is very lacking. The misfortune keep set has wu trapped and jays new head looks more serious:o According to the Italian site and also compared with the possession sets , Cole's dragon seems to be $ 9.99 , ninja bike chase and sky shark are $ 19.99 , Jay's elemental dragon and Zeppelin Raid are either $ 29.99 or $ 39.99 , Tiger Widow island will probably has the same price with than mech battle. But sadly I can't compare misfortune keep with any possession sets. Quote

Recent price leaks from Canadian toys R us suggest that Tiger Widow Island will cost around 50-60$, and Misfortune Keep around the same price as Ninja DBX set 80$. Quote
gamejutzu Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 What's up with the Sky shark in general? Looks like a regular flying pirate ship to me honestly. It doesn't follow the rules of steampunk like the rest. No reason really to get this one, especially not for the build. What I mean is, what makes this set special? Lloyd's OP jetpack as usual? A transforming feature?? Quote
Lyichir Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 So, battling with spinners is illegal like half the time? No. When minifigures hold a weapon in front of them (as with the spinners), they don't have to hold it perfectly horizontal. When one of a minifig's arms is higher than the other, the angle of those combined with the angle of the hands allows them to hold a weapon securely in two hands. This doesn't work the same way when a fig needs to hold onto a horizontal handlebar, since there's no way for their hands to achieve the right angle. That's why parts like motocycle or bike handlebars are angled—it's the only way a fig can grip tightly to both of them while still remaining in a secure standing or seated position. Quote

Dr.Cogg Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) My guesses for the sets prices in us are: Misfortunes Keep $99.99-$89.99 Zeppelin raid $29.99 Sky Shark $19.99 Tiger Widow Island $59.99 Cole's Dragon $12.99 Jay's Dragon $39.99 Kai and Nya's motorcycles $24.99 Edited November 22, 2015 by Dr.Cogg Quote

Aanchir Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) Based on the Euro prices on the latest site where I've seen pics of the sets, I'd imagine that both the Raid Zeppelin and Jay's Elemental Dragon are $35/€35 sets, that Sky Shark and Ninja Bike Chase are both $20/€20 sets (same price as as 70733 Blaster Bike), and that Cole's Dragon is a $10/€10 set (same price as the Airjitzu fliers). Not sure about the larger sets because they don't have a lot of older Ninjago set listings for me to compare the prices to. Edited November 22, 2015 by Aanchir Quote

NinjaJayNuva Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It really doesn't look like a $40 set to me. I assume it will share the saw box size with Jay Walker one in Possession. Quote
gamejutzu Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 (edited) I assume it will share the saw box size with Jay Walker one in Possession. The Batboat harbor pursuit is only $30 yet it has a very big box. Jay's dragon seems smaller. Edited November 22, 2015 by gamejutzu Quote
