I guess this is only the first part of the sets, because there are about 9 more sets on the list according to the bricklink - 70588 Titanium Ninja Tumbler, 70589 Cole's Earth Roader, 70590 Airjitzu Temple Grounds, 70591 Kryptarium Escape, 70592 Ronin Mech, 70593 Lloyd's Dragon, 70594 Watchtower Defence, 70595 Sonic Radar 2.0, 70596 Samurai X Cave

Or are they just in the 2nd wave, whis is going to be released later in 2016? Sorry, if I am mistaken :look:

Those are presumably all summer/2HY sets.

Nya has an "airjitzu gi" in tiger widow island.

They already had airjitzu forms.

It looks like they are wearing vests. Vests also usually have emblems as well.

I'm absolutely in love with tiger widow island, that set has everything i need. It has ghost cole, new nya, dogshank big fig, wu with helmet, and a beautiful island structure. It looks like Zane's symbol is an ice cat/tiger, or maybe a saber tooth! Nya's symbol looks like a bird, it's got to be a phoenix. Cole does indeed have a gorilla...

I'm not so sure about the bikes anymore, Tiger Widow Island has caught more of my attention. Hopefully I'll be able to get the Zeppelin which is absolutely amazing! Jays dragon is among my favorites.

Wow these final pics are so much better than originals, looks like Lego really improved original models and they look much better! To me most noticeable change is Tiger Widow Island is the best improvement. I mean the temple on top of main island is much more detailed and a bit bigger than before. But Jays dragon isn't as good as it looked in earlier version of the set, especially the head, it looked much better before. But the 2 stars of this wave are Misfortune Keep and Raid Zeppelin. Zeppelin is just so cool and unique looking vehicle, and all 3 minifigures in the set are just amazing! Misfortune Keep where to even start with this set? The minifigs are amazing 3 ninja, Nadakhan who is the best Ninjago villain minifig ever! So I am going to say it's my personal favorite set of Ninjago ever! I just hope it's 80$ as expected, but I will gladly pay 100$ for it.

The Venomari are unique in the Jr.'s sets. Surprised to say the least!

Anyone notice that on the back of the box that it tells you which of the Djinn blades are included? Among them is also Nadakhan's lamp, which despited being silhouetted on the back of the box, isn't featured in any of the sets...

Either we have another store exclusive, D2C exclusive, or a multi-wave story on our hands!

I'm leading more towards the first of those, although the third is certainly something that I'd be excited about.

I wonder if the flags on Tiger Widow Island are intentionally evoking the '94 Islanders theme, because that was definitely my first thought. :thumbup:

ETA: Looking at it closely, there's no way that's not intentional. :grin:

The dragon looks pretty good. I could have a use for some of the transparent parts, so that set's a second after the zeppelin. Cole's dragon is adorable, so i'll snag that too if I have the time.

Hey guys, I saw the preliminary catalogue and it seems summer wave is themed... Villain Breakdown! All well known villains are attacking (Samukai, Chen, Pythor, Cryptor...) A new ghost "sensei" appears! The theme is foccusing on... Cole who looks like unlocks his another potential? There was no Ronin Rex Mech... (Maybe it's store exclusive?) That's all I have! Pictures were not finished, so there was no minifigs shown on the boxes!

Interesting, i'm down with this, with the exception of Samukai...bleh

Which ninja is the new focus in that wave? And is Jay in set?

Wow, this seems interesting! Definitely seems to be a filler wave, also a bit of Bionicle Stars there. So do you know the villains you just mentioned are in the sets, or are they from the overall wave description? Could you describe the overall vibe of the box art (jungle, city, cave, something like that)?

Anyway, some thoughts about the spring 2016 sets:

- For me, Misfortune's Keep is going to be the best set of this wave, not just because it's big and quite literally the flagship set. It has great figs, great piece assortment (I love NPU of the quintessential pirates parts) and an awesome overall design and features. So many great details, I want it! :excited:

- The Serpentine in the Juniors sets are just amazing and better than their original counterparts!

- Zane looks absolutely badass with in his new outfit and the dual katana holder, which is an exception to most of the others imo.

- Dogshank looks weird, too many contrasting colours.

- I'm really diggin the design of all other baddies. Nice touch is the fact that their legs are sometimes left-orange and sometimes right-orange, so I can make full orange and full dark green legs. :sweet:

- The Raid Zeppelin looks kind of plain. Also, it seems that there is one segment missing to make a full baloon, because where is that bley axle going...? :look:
