Falconfan1414 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 So I guess we have our first official female big fig Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I suspected that, it just nagged me, and just when I got over it too XD Jay Nuva, congrats on that Zane statue! You are one of the few people with titanium hair! Am I being stalked or anything? Lol!And does anyone here wondered about what the green crystal in tiger widow island is ? I'm curious . Quote
DraikNova Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 What green crystal? There's just Lloyd's blade. Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 What green crystal? There's just Lloyd's blade. Nya is holding a green crystal. Quote
SKYGOAT Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Nya is holding a green crystal. according to the description, it states that it is a "vial of spider poison" Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 according to the description, it states that it is a "vial of spider poison" Interesting... Wonder what it's for! Also, there are a spider web cave in that polybag! Quote
DraikNova Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I'm guessing it's too much to hope for that Nya tames that spider at some point. Quote
Peasantseverywhere Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 The sets are up on the UK site too. Very nice pricing on these sets, i will probably pick the whole wave up in one go :) Misfortunes Keep = £69.99 Tiger Widow Island = £39.99 Zeppelin = £24.99 Jays Dragon = £24.99 Sky Shark = £17.99 Ninja Bikes = £17.99 Coles Dragon = ???? It mysteriously hasnt appeared, im guessin around £7.99 or £9.99 Quote
Vectormatic Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 So, at the risk of getting labeled as lazy for not reading the entire thread, what is the deal with the second list of sets in the opening post, the ones without pics etc? Im really interested in the Ronin Mech, its sounds like an awesome counterpart for my electro-mech, but im not up to date enough with ninjago to know is there is a summer-wave thing like in star wars Quote

Presumably, all those sets we don't have pics or descriptions for are from the summer wave. Quote
Exetrius Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 So I guess we have our first official female big fig Yes, that's refreshing. Too bad thought that there are just too many colours. Earth green, brown and orange (in this context) are fine, but the red and light blue is just too much for me Do we have a clear picture of Nya's new ninja outfit, I'm curious what symbol she has? Quote

CM4Sci Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Nya's emblem has always been a phoenix. Quote
gamejutzu Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) Brickfan's description: "Defend the island from Sqiffy’s pirate flyer and the Dogshank big figure’s attacks, dropping coconuts on her from the tower and Sensei Wu’s hot air balloon." I guess there's some more confirmation Squiffy's a girl then. Looks like a bird to me, almost like a Phoenix. I think we can expect it to be similar to the deepstone phoenix. Am I being stalked or anything? Lol! Hageman brothers retweeted it. Did you use metallic spray or something for the hair? Edited December 16, 2015 by gamejutzu Quote
gamejutzu Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Dogshank is a girl. I was making a joke Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I think something that might be cool in future sets, is the Dogshanks mold, in black as Overlord minions, or possibly the Overlord himself. Quote
Aanchir Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I was making a joke I don't get the joke, apparently. The "her" in The Brick Fan's product description is evidently referring to Dogshank, and the two uses of the word "her" in the LEGO.com product description can't be mistaken for references to any other character. Oh, also, Brothers Brick has a review of the Zeppelin Raid set. Quote
gamejutzu Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I don't get the joke, apparently. The joke was that the description is clearly referring to Dogshank as the "her", but I made it that Squffy was the "her", since they are both in the same paragraph. That review could have used more pictures. Is Zane's symbol a cat or a bird? Why did LEGO need to mess up the symbols? I doubt Doubloon is a skeleton, he has no nose and he has teeth. I think he is a member of the stone army. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) I still think zanes symbol is a saber tooth, even though it looks so much different now. Edited December 16, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote

Amazing Bricks Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) Anyone else think lego should have made all their animal symbols in actual sets. Imagine Cole on a gorilla build, or Jay riding an octopus! Kai having a lion would be amazing! Nya with a Phoenix? That would all be amazing. Just wish Lego made animal builds instead of regular vehicle's. I really think this was a missed oppurtunity. Who else agrees with me? Edited December 16, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted December 16, 2015 Author Posted December 16, 2015 I think they would end up looking like the legends beasts from chima...no thanks Quote

Who else agrees with me? I still think Cole's should have been a ancient golem who was alive for like 1000000 years and is covered in foliage or something. Zane's symbol pretty clearly looks like a cat, like it always has. I don't see how the symbols have been "messed up"—personally, I appreciate the variety. Yes, but that upper jaw can either be perceived as teeth or a beak... Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I'm pretty sure Doubloon isn't a skeleton either, he's more likely an Oni, which makes this wave even more interesting, because the pirate crew is made up of A Jinn, A robot monkey, an Oni, a few humans, a few Serpentine and what ever Dogshanks is.
