azog Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 That looks pretty sweet! When does it come out? I need to get myself one Quote
gamejutzu Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Ronin was part of the pirate faction confirmed. Also, we've had 3 sword holders so far. one sideways, two crossing, two double sideways, and now I think we should get the double horizontal parallel sheaths. these: They'd need to be a bit longer (to avoid the ground), but even so i'd think they'd look amazing. Still Raindrop Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 From what I can tell, the monkey's body is in fact a new mold--though similar to what we've had before. I hope we get it in brown eventually. Quote
obsidianheart Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Plane looks longer than I first thought. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Where was Ronin confirmed as one of the pirates, I know their flag matches him, but I haven't heard he was a pirate. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Where was Ronin confirmed as one of the pirates, I know their flag matches him, but I haven't heard he was a pirate. It hasn't been confirmed, it's just another crazy theory. Quote
Aanchir Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 The online LEGO Shop now has high-resolution images of all the new Ninjago sets besides Cole's Dragon (which still isn't listed, for whatever reason). See them all here! Quote

DuckBricks Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Did you watch the review? That pirate minifigure has back printing identical to Ronin. Eh, not sure if this means he was once a pirate. To be honest, it seems pretty likely though. (Anyway this belongs in the Show Discussion...) Quote
gamejutzu Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (Anyway this belongs in the Show Discussion...) Not really, this is more half-set and half-show, but that's just me. Quote
Vindice Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Oh dear I'm really starting to like these sets... On another note, can I just say a big thank you to the mod for updating page one with pics. It is incredibly helpful when people do that. Quote
Dr.Cogg Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I just wanted to know if Ronin was official a pirate at one point, because the pirate flag makes it look like Ronin was their captain at one point, but then again Ronin's not in any of the sets. Quote
Lyichir Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) I just wanted to know if Ronin was official a pirate at one point, because the pirate flag makes it look like Ronin was their captain at one point, but then again Ronin's not in any of the sets. The flag doesn't look any more like Ronin than it does like Sensei Wu or the Mailman (the only similarities are the hat and eyepatch, and the eyepatch is over the wrong eye). It's possible that Ronin was once a part of this crew, but that assumes both that the flag, if it represents him, is wrong, and that the crew actually existed prior to Nadakhan's arrival (it's entirely possible that it's a newly formed crew of assorted rogues and ne'er-do-wells). Wardancer Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 That 4-Armed genie, is his shoulder armor a seperate piece or is it linked to the upper torso? Quote
8BrickMario Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) The upper torso encompasses the armor and the arms. It's the same piece as General Kozu's. To put the Dogshank debate to rest, the hi-res images clearly show feminine eyelashes. I really like the new cutlass, especially with the skull face molded into the hilt. I think they ruined the monkey by making it metallic. Edited December 18, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 (edited) It looks like we're getting jay in a keychain, and it's our best look at his torso. It's kind of interesting how that variation is already available in a keychain. Edited December 18, 2015 by amazingbricks Quote
gamejutzu Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 (edited) Ikr XD To put the Dogshank debate to rest, the hi-res images clearly show feminine eyelashes. How did you find them? I stared at the pic for like 5 minutes and I didn't see them. OHH the ones at the Lego shop Edited December 19, 2015 by gamejutzu Quote
gamejutzu Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 (edited) Also backing up that thing I said where it's actually a trapped ninja rather than a trapped element: Other weapons include a translucent green Djinn Blade with ‘trapped Lloyd’ element, Nya’s 2 golden katanas, Cole’s silver katana, Sensei Wu’s battle staff and Sqiffy’s 2 guns. It says "trapped Lloyd", not "Trapped Lloyd element". Meaning the "element" refers to the brick and not Lloyd's powers. Also, the set descriptions for Tiger widow island describe Dogshank as "her" several times, so no argument there. Edited December 21, 2015 by gamejutzu Quote
makoy Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 To put the Dogshank debate to rest, the hi-res images clearly show feminine eyelashes. Wow. Bravo. Your attention to detail is excellent. If this true then dogshank could be the first female big fig indeed. Quote

See them all here! I absolutely LOVE the Sky Shark, its a sharp looking flyer, and all the little details, the ye-olde flinklock rifles used to hold the side fins, the rows of pistols mounted in the front, the chains, the treasure chests worked into the engines, lovely stuff, very scifi-steampunk-pirate I dont follow the show, and im not a big ninjago fan or anything, but some of these sets are just completely awesome, even out of context Quote

But hey, at least it's a nice looking generic ship? Quote
gamejutzu Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Also, Dogshank's figure has tons of nuts and bolts, even through the chest's center. Also, there is a tube on the right side of the chest as well. ... Mech suit? Quote
NinjaJayNuva Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Let's revive this forum! So the 2016 Jan-Feb Lego magazine was released online. One page of it is about Ninjago. It's about Wu-Cru ! Though I have no idea what" Cru " means, but I am sure that wu-cru is something from skybound. Quote
