Boogly22238 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Perhaps one of the builds will look a little like this Quote
Thelegomaster Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Ooh, it looks like it won't be just plain old "Ninjas vs. Pirates", but "Ninjas vs. Sky Pirates"! Or am I jumping to too many conclusions here? Skyrates... Quote
djmangunz Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I have never purchased a Ninjago set before (I am sorely tempted by the Last Flight of the Destiny's Bounty) but if this line contains steampunk ninja pirate zeppelins then consider that dry streak broken... Quote
Lyichir Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) The list of sets also includes "LEGO Juniors Snake Showd" (Showdown?). Could that be a Ninjago Juniors set? It'd make sense, given Ninjago's popularity, and I don't know of many other themes with snake enemies. Edited August 3, 2015 by Lyichir Quote

It'd make sense, given Ninjago's popularity, and I don't know of many other themes with snake enemies. I mentioned that earlier as well, and agree with you, unless that coincides with the Big Bang theme. A Temple Battle (forgot the exact name) is also listed under Juniors... Quote
Exetrius Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 That Lost Temple set sounds quite interesting, especially when keeping in mind everything will be printed! If the Snake Showdown and the Lost Temple are indeed Ninjago sets, what kind of variants would they include? Still praying for some Elemental Masters... Quote

Given that snakes are pretty much irrelevant at this point in the story, of these truly are Ninjago sets, they seem to be revisiting past story lines so Elemental Masters is possible.... Now if they give us Turner or Karloff again I'll be disappointed Quote
Peasantseverywhere Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Well if you look at the Superheroes Junior sets they always seem to include some rare or exclusive minifigure in order to lure the more collectors in, e.g. the Green Goblin in the new spidey set. So naturally you would think that they would implement a figure we would all want in order to boost sales of the set :) Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 I'm hoping if they give us an elemental master it's Ash, Bolobo, or Neuro. Quote

Master_Data Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 We're just missing Misfort Keep and Sky Shark. I hope Misfort is bigger than Black Widow Island. Quote
benderisgreat Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 So new leak suggest there will be just 5 sets instead of 7, interesting development. Did they decide to push 2 other sets to summer 2016 wave, or they never even existed? But back to the topic of 5 sets. Jays Elmental dragon seems to be same size as Zanes Titanium Dragon earlier in 2015. Also Coles Dragon will probably be imaginary since you can't make good dragon in 100 pieces. Ninja bike sounds pretty generic , we had a lot of Ninjago bikes over the years, including this waves Coles Blaster Bike. But Airship and Black widow Island sounds interesting to me. Zeppelin would probably be pretty small considering its 33€ set. Island seems to fit rumored pirate wave perfectly( probably pirate hideout). Overall this vase seems pretty generic to means not fitting in rumored pirates wave, except for 2 sets. But to be honest it's going to be pretty hard for Lego to create better sets than Ghosts sets this summer. Quote

LegendsOfNinjago Posted August 6, 2015 Author Posted August 6, 2015 I hope Ninjago doesn't suffer because of NexoKnights (which I already have a feeling I'll love) I think Ninjago has the potential to become a 10 year wave. Depending on how they go about the story. 5 sets, like i'very said before seems small, I hope we have some retail exculsives. Which could be what the Sky Shark and the MisFort are. *crosses fingers* but regardless, still pumped for season 6 and the kick butt pirates! Quote
BrickJagger Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 There's no way that the largest set is fifty bucks. The two largest sets are Misfort and Sky Shark, they just aren't listed. I noticed the same thing with Nexo Knights. In the first set number leak, there were eight regular sets. In the set name leak, only six are there, and Jestro's set is the biggest at only fifty bucks, implying that the other two are larger but for some reason aren't listed. Ninjago is making way for Nexo Knights next year, just like it did for Chima in 2013. I suspect that Lego made so many Ninjago sets this year because they were trying to keep Ninjago fans happy and introduce a new theme at the same time. Quote

It is a really good hypothesis, and preferably a good move for LEGO. Maybe we could see a small Summer wave, but it is possibly unlikely. On the contrary, it frels like that the next wave is a bit smaller than 2013, but maybe it would sell a lot like this. Quote
Exetrius Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 This is pure speculation, but wouldn't it be interesting if Nexo Knights is set in one of the 'Ninjago realms'? maybe we will see some cameos, similar to UA, in the theme. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted August 6, 2015 Author Posted August 6, 2015 ^^^ This would be cool. I also noticed for Heros like ninjago. But it looks like there are two female characters. Any who back on track. Noticed Bionicle's list was missing twor Toa thus making sense the lists arenot complete. Not to mention there are no Airjitzu sets mentioned, as seeing as though the next season is sky related, I find it highly improbable for no AJ sets. Quote

I would bet money that it is. If Chima, Ninjago, and Nexo Knights are the three Big Bangs, and the first two are connected, why wouldn't NK be? How many realms are there? 16? Lego could keep this going for a loooooong time. : P Quote

Perhaps AJ is taking a break for whatever new gimmick NK will have, as no Airjitsu sets have been leaked in any list. (Side note: Bionicle's list was missing only one set, the largest in the new wave containing a Toa and a smaller Creature) Quote

I suspect that Lego made so many Ninjago sets this year because they were trying to keep Ninjago fans happy and introduce a new theme at the same time. That's a possibility, but let's not discount another potential reason for the smaller wave—this coming year's sets may have been designed in a hurry to fill the gap created by the Ninjago movie's delay. There was likewise a low number of sets in 2014, which similarly had to be churned out in a hurry thanks to the near-cancellation and subsequent revival of the line. Quote

But the first list that showed up was roughly in order of smallest to largest. I think that Sky Shark is likely Set 70601 and is a smaller set and Tiger Widow is going to be 70605. I think that Misfort is probably Black Widow Island. By the way, did anyone save the listings and get the package dimensions? If we have those, we can probably get a rough idea as to piece counts. DraikNova Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Personally, I think Cole's dragon is going to be similar in build to Chima's Legend Beasts, which could make for an interesting set. I just wish that Jay's elemental dragon was a bit larger, maybe around the $40 or $45 pricemark. Not too interested in the rest of the sets yet. Quote
