JamesJT Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 Thank you all! Awesome! Does drive and steering really work? I'd like to see it if it does. Yes, but not with the wheels that you can see. There is another chassis under the car so it can still move in battle mode. Quote
BusterHaus Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Very impressive! The black "windows" do a great job of hiding the inside mechanisms - I can't wait for more information on this. Quote
jono rocky Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Absolutely awesome. My bandits truck just fell to pieces looking at it. Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Very cool model. Did you use your Esprit frame for this? Or could you only reuse the folding mechanism for the wheels? Quote
barman Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 This is very impresive! Great design on the car, looking like a killer wale. When I saw the pictures I thought that this was a manual function, but you made it fully remote controled. Wow!!! Best entry I've seen so far. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 That is a whaley good moc.... I like the transformation of it,and being rc. Quote
MaxSupercars Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 (edited) Waaa... very good... Are the wheels also rotating, the car can move or it is a static model? Max... Edited July 14, 2015 by MaxSupercars Quote
Milan Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Waaa... very good... Are the wheels also rotating, the car can move or it is a static model? Max... He wrote few posts ago that there is another chassis beneath the car that makes the whole car driveable and steerable. Quote
MaxSupercars Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 (edited) I wanted to be sure... I mean visible normal wheels in normal mode not in battle mode... OK, they seem not to be used for drive... Looking forward for final video... Max... Edited July 14, 2015 by MaxSupercars Quote
JamesJT Posted July 14, 2015 Author Posted July 14, 2015 Very cool model. Did you use your Esprit frame for this? Or could you only reuse the folding mechanism for the wheels? I only used the bones of the esprit front axel, it was just perfect for making the killer whale's white patches. See LDD file. I did check with Jim to make sure it was OK to use an old mechanism in TC7. folding wheel (1).lxf Quote
Lakop Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 Great job making all that remote. I love it. Good luck with it. H Quote
