Nekchir Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Apologies for crap photos. Based on what you can see, give any critiques. Thaaaaanks. Quote
Dosenbrot Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I like the overall shape, it certainly has a very feminine touch. Gali's Mask sticks out very much, but I like the idea of using the Mask as Armor. Good Job! Quote
Quisoves Pugnat Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I'm all for using a mask as armor, but Gali's doesn't look like armor here, giving the impression of a hunchback. As for the torso, it has promise, though it's a bit too bare-bones here for me to properly say. Quote
TFGuy89 Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 I think the use of Gali's mask for the torso armour is pretty ingenious, as is the use of the two shoulder pauldrons. I especially like the use of spikes to add even more curves to the body, it reminds me of a similar attempt used on Transformers Animated Blackarachnia. I think you could improve the look by somehow masking Gali's eyes and mouth, though honestly I wouldn't begin to know how to go about that. As of now, her face does stand out, even if the overall shape is good. Quote
Flobnomdob Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I like this design, I can see how it could be used to give an unique appearance to a not-so-heavily armoured figure. I think the main reason people're saying it looks too clearly like a face is because no other face is visible- it'd improve massively with a head and limbs. If you complete it, I look forward to seeing what can be done with this design! Quote
Mutant Orc Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I agree with Flobnomdob. The fanciest armour used to feature faces or animals on it anyways didn't it? Smaller probably, but all the same... Quote
