Awesome castle Simon and it's good to see you building again. I really like how you did those larger Windows! You mightn't have any shot of them revealing how you build them?

That's a beautiful scene from all angles. The castle itself looks great even if the overall design is fairly simple. The architecture and colors are very good together and the vegetation is superb all the way around. I think the water looks pretty good and it gives a little extra depth to the whole scene. This is a very appealing abode for some lucky minifigs! With so many extravagant castles this is a reminder that standard building techniques can still be beautiful. Excellent work!

Quite beautiful  As others have said, there's plenty of detail on every side: the balcony, chapel, pretty windows, various tudor sections, and wonderful foliage all look incredible

Wow! I really like the moss growing on the tan parts!

Thanks Carson :)

Nice castle there, I really like the window in the rear tower on the second picture. Much more interesting than square ones

Thank you. I also have a square one in the tallest tower that I built before the other one. Of course it doesn't look as good, but instead it's stabile. I may bring this to a convention one day, so stability is an important part

Oh, lovely! I like every brick and stud of it!

Thank you Titus!

It's really nice - I love every little detail on it, from angled wall section to the flora growing around the outsides to the "metal" hinges on the doors to the stained glass looks....

Just an incredible work of art.

Thanks man :classic:

Beautiful build, Simon! The wall texturing, foliage, and tudor sections look amazing!

I love the stained glass window too

Thanks mate!

Great castle!

Thank you :classic:

Sweet build, Simon! Nice to see you back!

I particularly like the angled walls and the windows. The water looks great as well!

It's also good to be a little bit building again. Only 2 weeks to go :classic:

Love the colors and detail of this thing. Great work!

Thank you!

Love all the greenery around it. And the castle looks fantastic. One of the best MOCs I've seen lately... Awesome work.

Thanks a lot for this high praise :classic:

Thanks mate. Do you mean those in the two gate towers? I can take pics of them for you soon.

Lovely castle, I like both the general layout/design and the architectural details :classic:

Great to see you back here again also!

Thanks Captain. You exactly understood what I was trying with this build. I think a good castle doens't need super greebly walls and details everywhere to look good. Sometimes less is more

Thanks SK!

Sweet castle Simon! It's good to see builds from you again!

Thank you HH :classic:
