This is the kind of building I love. The color scheme is just about perfect.

It would indeed be a great project for Lego Idea and you got my support!

Thanks very much, I just checked and the supporters have jumped up today by quite a few to 361, I appreciate all the word of mouth!

Wow, just saw its on the Frontpage, thanks so much for that, JopieK!

Just supported it!

It actually baffles me that Lego haven't done a modular building aligned with trains in some way. I know the fan base for trains is limited, but that doesn't mean that there aren't train stations in most towns (just like green grocers, grand emporiums (?), fire brigades, pet shops, etc.). I would think a lot of people outside of the train fanbase would like a train station in their layout that resembled the scale of the existing modulars.

Oh well, this one could be it!!!

Thanks for all the great support, its added a lot to the total supporting. I really appreciate it. I wasn't sure to post in the Town section or Train, but felt Train was more appropriate. Being added to the frontpage, really helped a lot for exposure. I sincerely appreciate it all. We train fans need to stick together! Its hard to gain a lot when most people seem to dismiss it before even looking it over.

I know there is some dissension about how this would work as a bona fide modular, but I think it could be integrated into a modular town setup. In every town, far as I know, there are those stand alone buildings. They are just as valid in a modular setup as the linked together buildings. It just requires a little more space, and maybe the Lego Group doesn't want to address that, but I think it is doable...

I also know there are weak spots in the design, and I know that they can be ironed out. I also know there are people that won't support something because it doesn't fit 100% into their ideas, but I hope that there are more people that can be flexible and support it as it is, and hope it will be tweaked to fit better if approved... I do hope so! That is my philosophy on what I support or not... Thanks so much to all you train fans!

Great looking modular! Supported.

This station is reminiscent of one you would find in a smaller city or town - places like Bamberg or Würzberg in Germany come to mind.

Best of luck! I would definitely buy a copy or two.

Thanks to all the supporters!! Its trickling off though. Any suggestions for where to get some more exposure? I tried to post it on brickset forum, but that is pretty much dead space...its such a poorly formatted forum site, Eurobricks is so much better!

Maybe try to get it on the front page of Brothers Brick as well?

Thanks for the tip, I joined their blog page, and the list of criteria is quite long, to be considered for inclusion. I did a lot of what they suggest, I build an album on Flickr, which is one of their main sources for new ideas. They pretty much force you to have a facebook or twitter page, which I didn't have active. So, I resurrected mine, so I can post on their page...that just gets shuffled to a text only side bar though...LOL I posted about it on some of my main BrickLink suppliers pages as well...

Fantastic! Really! I want it!

About the barrel on the top... is that a remaining from the time it received stream trains or is it the ordinary water supply to the building?

Thanks, I am glad you like it. Its so hard to get support beyond a certain point.

The barrel is for the building water supply, its there to make the building look older and modified over the many years its been in operation!
