Apparently it's something that's never happened before... The scroll of burning, I mean. For some reason (ahem) I thought there was such a thing. Quote

Scubacarrot Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) Hey Guts! I call across the market, making my way to the Marauder. You have a Sapphire, right? Mind if I buy it? Or I could buy you one back in Eubric. "Sure." Guts tosses Dyric his Sapphire. "You left me alive," says Piglina, dusting herself off and eying Guffington curiously. "And he doesn't seem murderous. As long as you're taking him back off the island with you, I guess it's no harm done. Still a stupid and reckless mission, but sometimes they work out. What do you need done?" UsernameMDM Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 "How did you and Torc find Dastan and Xu?" "We plan to go back to both before heading back to Eubric. Dastan seems to be on the edge of civil war from what I saw. We helped quell an uprising at the palace gates no less. Torc got to meet some of her family, who were less than receptive to our little band of adventurers," Hoke said with a chuckle as he looked at Torc,"Xu, on the other hand, was almost uneventful, peaceful really. "I will take the Orb to Sir Pigley - he is a very great friend of mine. It will be good to see him again. I assume the Orb is marked, or that I will otherwise know it when we see it? And as for the Anvil, I've not made up my mind to leave it, but perhaps the treasure room is an appropriate place. It is well protected?" "Most of the time it is, but I'm about to let three dangerous strangers into it." She wrinkles her nose. "I will let you judge for yourself if the defenses seem to be enough. But in general, outsiders wouldn't be able to make it this far, especially without our compliance. You'll be able to find what you're looking for once you're there, though." Guts raises an eyebrow. "Deal. Send us in." "Done." She whistles and a Void Master, an Ice-Elemental appears. She whispers to him and the trio is warped to the Room of Treasures, a haphazard collection of gold trinkets stacked towards a blinding light. The Void Master whisks away as quickly as he arrived... and the heroes can hear approaching footsteps. Apparently the room is gaurded! Would they like to prepare for combat? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 "Why am I not surprised? Well, our real job is already done, no reason not to try this out..." Guts takes a mead, smelling salts, nostrum... and also his Crimson Serum. Quote
