I built this a while ago, for the ABS builder challenge, but just got around to posting it. The seed part for this round was the tan ice cream cone.

Everything in the kitchen opens up too:

C&C much appreciated :classic:

Wow, that's really impressive... the attention to detail is amazing. I like the technique for the curtains a lot, but everything is incredible - the table, chairs, sink... it's all really well done.

Awesome. So much details, stunning details. I realy love under the sink section, awesome work with the pipes. My wife made almost the same microwave last year in her kitchen MOC.

Very nice, the blue and white tiles 1 x 1 on the wall are really impressive!

Amazing MOC!

Nice! Great details all round, but I particularly like the taps.

Thanks so much! :sweet: Glad you like it!

So much detail!

Thanks, Graham!

Thank you! She might have inspired this then, as I looked up LEGO microwaves and just modified it a little :classic:

Amazing MOC!

Thank you! It's actually the ends of 1x2 bricks for the checker pattern :classic:

Thanks, Kristel! :sweet: I really liked those too :classic:

I like it. There's many details, and I like how everything opens. I particularly like the diagonal tiling on the wooden floor. There's not much room to move around though. By the way, smart part use of the 8t gears there :)

There's two little things I don't like 100% though.

1. There's quite a lot of tan. I think it would be better if the "base" (the front edge that hides the construction of the diagonal floor) could have ben another color designiating thatit doesn't really belong to the kitchen, but denotes the boundary of the MOC. E.g. dark tan or (dark) gray.

2. The light-blue checkerboard pattern is also on the outside of the walls...

Very nice MOC with many great details.

Absolutely amazing!! I want to buy it right now :D

What a lovely kitchen - so realistic.

Great Work!

Very nice.

Well done!

Perfect, indeed perfect

This is a very nice kitchen. All the appliances turned out well and the table and chairs are nice. The standard accessories are perfect for this scale, and you've used the seed part quite well. I especially like the rolling pin and dough; too bad the "one ring" piece doesn't come in standard colors, eh? I also think the front border would look better in another color that isn't used so prominently elsewhere. A few more food items (bananas, or pretzels, or croissants or something) would look good as well. But it's a very neat, clean arrangement as shown. Good work!

Lovely kitchen LJ! Fantastic job on the color-scheme and detailing, and great uses of the seed part! All the opening cabinets and doors are truly superb as well! Congrats on the front page!

This is astonishing!

Wonderful creation, thanks for sharing

Hey, little john, I wonder if this is a view into your own kitchen ...

no bananas or brezels lyin' around showcase your love of cleanness, am I right?

i see no reasons to change anything. it just looks sympathic and fine. and I'm quite happy, that you didn't use clothcapes of SW royal guards as curtains but built them with bricks!

Fantastic, love all the details and how everything fits so perfectly!

You should put this on ideas :)
