La Chupacabra Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Better now. Do you have any plans or photos of that ship ? Quote
The Librarian Posted July 30, 2015 Author Posted July 30, 2015 Thanks - and (unfortunately perhaps), it's not based on any actual extant Star Wars spaceship. I drew inspiration from the Blockade Runner, but also from the concept version of it, the Republic Cruiser from episode 1 and this model kit. I was going for a Star Wars feel, not accuracy to any one source. Quote
karmajay Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 (edited) Looks great! I like the corvettes and capital ships! It does have a star wars feel. I've been watching Clone wars and it reminds me of a ship in there. Edited July 31, 2015 by karmajay Quote
the_vertical_man Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 It's a simply beautiful creation, I must say, and for it to have a functioning interior is icing on the cake. You're clearly put a lot of detail in to it and your hard work has definitely paid off. Similarly amazing is squid master jedi. Great design! Quote
Jacob Nion Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I was about ten and building Darth Vader out of Castle parts and no doubt the odd multi-coloured X-Wing. You'e not alone with this! I am really amazed by your ship. It completely captures everything a ship should have to feel like star wars. The shape is great and I like how one can identify sections inspired by canonical vessels. Please more of that! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Incredible ship and fun characters! Amazing work! Quote
The Librarian Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 Thanks for all the comments guys - I'm really glad I managed to achieve what I set out to do and create a ship that was recognisably 'Star Wars' in origin. Quote
