andrewganschow Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Lego's really pushing the part count limit aren't they? - 2011: Unimog, 2100 pcs - 2013: Mobile Crane, 2600 pcs - 2015: MB Arocs, 2800 pcs - 2016: BWE 3000 pcs I used to think it's not until 2017 that we see a new limit, but it comes sooner than I thought. If they're pushing part count that high this will be a must buy for me. I've been hoping that this BWE would be massive. Quote
Emmi Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 We are all waiting for Huw to upload the descriptions on brickset.com, right? Pressing F5 every second. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) Brick Fanatics reported that BWE: 179.99 £ , Car: 249.99 £ . Promo Brick cite Brick Fanatics as source, however reported that BWE: 249.99 £ , Car: 179.99 £. I think Promo Brick made some mistakes while typing, probably because of excitement. Emmi Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I hope that the car is NO Mercedes (I don't like how their cars look). Also I doubt they would do yet another Mercedes licensed Technic set this year, since we just got one great one last year. Quote

Balrog Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I don't think the BWE will be 3000 pieces and "only" 179.99 £. It must be the other way around. Also Promobricks updated the list I think. Quote

steph77 Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Searching 'ultramotive' i found this car build by: Varley Group, Ultramotive and Tritium. it's name: Varley EVR450. A full electric supercar. Could it be this one? Quote

Ondra Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) I don't think they sell 3000 parts at ~240€ + Many power functions parts, I dont think that BWE will use only one motor. Searching 'ultramotive' i found this car build by: Varley Group, Ultramotive and Tritium. it's name: Varley EVR450. A full electric supercar. Could it be this one? Fugly as hell .Also this technic supercar has engine in front. Edited January 24, 2016 by Ondra Quote

A full electric supercar. Could it be this one? This might be my opinion, but that would bomb HARD at that price point, very little mechanics (no fake engine, presumably no gearbox), zero brand appeal, and honestly, very generic early 00s super car looks Quote
Aleh Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Guys what means BWE and TLG? Trade LEgo Group? Sorry for the offtopic. Quote

allanp Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Arocs was close to 3000 parts and I don't think the BWE would need more than one motor so £180 sounds about right for that. I hope so anyway, would prefer the Supercar to be the £250 set. Quote

bob st-claire Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 if BWE is 3000pc, what would be the B model? Any guess? They will be no tires, probably chain gears.. What would you build/design/quess/want as B model for BWE? Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) I think BWE uses at least 1 XL motor. Moving tracks, moving boom, moving bucket wheel are all heavy tasks. if BWE is 3000pc, what would be the B model? Any guess? They will be no tires, probably chain gears.. What would you build/design/quess/want as B model for BWE? My bet is a trench digger. It can utilize the whole bucket wheel and conveyor belts. or this Edited January 24, 2016 by nguyengiangoc Quote
KLF Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I'm more curious what will be the B-model for the CLASS tractor. ;) I'm hoping for some other CLAAS product - maybe AXION. ;) Quote
Ondra Posted January 24, 2016 Author Posted January 24, 2016 (edited) Promobricks on some german site named doctor brick forum say, that brickfanaticks change prices of BWE and supercar. Also with that price for BWE i think it will be fully RC.You can remotely change functions, this would be great! I hope BWE will be able to do brick mining (cleaning bricks from the floor and convey belt them to the box on the other side - that would be very...lets say..practical) I do my Legoing on the floor. :-) Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Perhaps an Axion? Claas Xerion has 4 wheels of the same size, and B-model has to use those 4 wheel of the same size, while Class Axion has bigger rear wheels and smaller front wheels. So it's not possible. Quote
