merman Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I hears some rumors about a new type of color coding. Not sure in what field but my fears are it concerns the axles, like the yello 3M axle in the WALL-E-set. Can anyone who has seen the images confirm or even better: debunk? Quote
allanp Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 3M axles are grey in the helicopter. Quote
Emmi Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 how big is the helicopter? bigger than the cargo plane? how many pieces (guess) Quote
allanp Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) I'de say it's slightly bulkier that the cargo plane, main body being 13 studs wide and not quite as long, I would guess about 1100 - 1200 parts, compared to about 1300 for the cargo plane. Edited September 20, 2015 by allanp Quote
D3K Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 (edited) how big is the helicopter? bigger than the cargo plane? how many pieces (guess) Given that it has been stated that it uses the rotor blades from 9396, I would imagine it will be in scale to those. Also, as it seems to be based off the previously mentioned Kamov KA-27, it is probably slightly shorter than the 9396, but with a similar fuselage size. This is just speculation and reasoning given the info we have got so far. I myself haven't seen the pics EDIT: Or could it be based off the Ka-26? Edited September 20, 2015 by D3K Quote
Vectormatic Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Oh, i just thought of something, i wasnt very hyped about the chopper, but it would probably be a very good base for a Ka-52 moc, which would be AWESOME Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I'm thinking that the "Mine Loader" is some sort of log loader, judging from what I can tell from descriptions. I like the sound of the yellow hubs from the 8264 making a return, though. Quote
Ondra Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Another nice nee detail on the dragster- new green-ish colour of piston heads in the cylinder engine. Do you see if it is V6 or V8?I think beetween these two, I dont think there will be V4. Quote
Vectormatic Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Do you see if it is V6 or V8?I think beetween these two, I dont think there will be V4. Considering 42022 got a V6, i dont see a V4 happening either, a V8 would be most accurate, but depending on the set size they might not be able to fit a V8, 42022 kinda needs a V8 as well, but even with a V6 it looks waaaaay too long Quote
Ondra Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 I found list of technic for full 2016.Is there everything that we already know.Xerion will be with variable cab, because that list say it will be VC edition and interesting thing is, that there isnt any ultimate ip car, could it be exclusive set as 41999? http://brickfanatics.co.uk/2016-lego-set-names-appearing-online/ Quote
CM4Sci Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Those names are at least a month old, first 2016 leaks. I think I covered everything as I got my list EXACTLY from LEGO. Quote

Emmi Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 helicopter will be exclusive. avail. in March Quote
maras Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Woah, can't wait to see the bucket wheel excavator. That's going to be a huge set! Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Do you see if it is V6 or V8?I think beetween these two, I dont think there will be V4. I don't see anything now, cause I don't have photos. I saw them last Friday in a retailers catalogue and was dumb enough not to take them. I'm not quite sure about the number of cylinders, definetly not V4, I'd say V8 - it looked huge over the hood, it has a large air intake above the cylinders. I estimate the hood being long at least 15 studs and the engine was all over it (more or less) :-) Quote
Emmi Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Dude who posted those said he will post the rest of the images on Monday. Hm, so where's the rest of the images, I've been waiting the whole day for them to appear - nothing happened so far. Quote
D3K Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 helicopter will be exclusive. avail. in March What do you mean by "exclusive"? Quote
Emmi Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) It's a "Special Edition" set and might be retail exclusive - I myself am clueless of what that could mean or if something like that has ever been the case before. But it's interesting though, normally 1H 2016 sets release in January, so there must be another 1H 2016 flagship if the helicopter releases in March? The box I've been told looks the same, classic Technic box, nothing special about it :) Edited September 21, 2015 by Emmi Quote
Ondra Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Is not exclusive, classic first half flaghship released every year at the same time . Quote
Thirdwigg Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Thanks for providing all the news. I am looking forward to 2016. Quote
