Paul Boratko Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 The color scheme in the 42052 looks exactly like Nathanael's Predator.. Sure ...Is true that I came from Kladno but Im still dry with leaks as you.As I said that helicopter doesnt look interesting in this stage. My bet is that they change stickers because there are only huge black sticker with letters "heavy lift" or so.Also cargo for winch looks like five minutes work, another bet is that they polish it. Also combination mostly white with orange looks good...for coast guard chopper . Im maybe very critical but I want best from sets!Maybe it is my wild fantasy but i see large motor in box photo. Yes, the stickers have changed... Quote
Rishab N Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 maybe they mad cos we said the prelim pic of the 24 hour racer looked so much better They don't want to make that mistake again I guess Quote

Samer Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 (edited) Well, I'm not saying make another shuttle, I just want more stuff that isn't cars, tow trucks, and construction equipment. I only used a shuttle as an example because it was late and I couldn't think of anything else Or even something that isn't a vehicle, such as tower clock, wall clock, piano, tripod, telescope, microscope, airport belt, chain actions ...etc Such stuff may involve cool mechanics and very playful. I copied this here as I thought it also belongs. Edited October 8, 2015 by Samer Quote
Kman860 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Although is is what we might/will see, not what we want to see, I've seen that spiral out of control far too many times here and in real life conversations, and other forums Quote
schraubedrin Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I've got the Suspicion LEGO might actually try to build a clock. The new Type-3 turntable has got 60 teeth instead of the traditional 56. This eliminates 7 as a prime factor and thereby the need to use the old 14-teeth bevel gear to get any wanted arbitrary gear ratios, as needed in a clock. Even if TLG doesn't release one, that's quite convenient Quote
JGW3000 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Personally, I am hoping for a realistically functional IR-controlled transmission in the IP car powered by a buggy-type motor. Tired of having vehicles stop when changing gears. Quote
GoldVillage Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Personally, I am hoping for a realistically functional IR-controlled transmission in the IP car powered by a buggy-type motor. Tired of having vehicles stop when changing gears. Nice idea, but we need draw a line between whats RC and whats lego... in talk of hoping for something new, a pneumatic driven motor would be nice (like a hydrostatic motor, but is driven from air flow) this could be useful to drive such vehicles theres no way to route axles and gears to the tires. Quote
Saberwing40k Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 A rotary pneumatic motor would be great and realistic, I'd also like to see a rotary pump, and maybe some self centering valves. Also, if the IP Car is RC, I want it to be true radio control, none of that crappy IR nonsense. Quote
Lyichir Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I know it's not a Technic set itself, but have any of you been paying attention to the Nexo Knights news? 70317 Fortrex seems to include a new piece (a sort of rubber 1/2 module pin) that attaches to the 5M Technic tread links to give them more grip, without being as bulky as the ones that have been available for Mindstorms. I figured y'all might be interested—even if you don't want to get Nexo Knights sets, I wouldn't be surprised if they appear in other Technic sets with treads in the future. Quote

dhc6twinotter Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I like those new panels! Looks like there are yellow and blue available. I wonder if the red handle on the race kart does anything? Quote

I wonder if the red handle on the race kart does anything? Maybe changes gears from one speed to a 2nd speed.. You can see a red clutch gear in there.. And is that an orange 1/2 bushing..? Nice to see a big black steering wheel in a small set.. Edited October 11, 2015 by Paul Boratko Quote

rollermonkey Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) Hydroplane racer must have wheels... It's got the engine block with pistons. Are those wheels on the mining loader what I think they are? Edited October 11, 2015 by rollermonkey Quote
Paul Boratko Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) I also think those black flex axles on the Hydroplane racer are 7L plugged into a tan axle pin.. Edited October 11, 2015 by Paul Boratko Quote
Jay Psi Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I don't know if it's the wait talking, but those sets looks more substantial than the smaller 1H sets of previous years. It looks like the mould for the mudguard panels from 42039 is being put to good use in both the Hydroplane racer and Go Kart. Quote
Ondra Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Very nice sets, I love those vibrant colours. This is best 1H so far, can wait for pictures of Fire truck and dragster. Quote
Kiwi_Builder Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Are those wheels on the mining loader what I think they are? What do you think they are? From what I can tell they're just the standard 62.4x20 wheels. Quote
