Thank you. Also, finally, we see the display team jet. Although, I think that should read more like "Acrobatic Team Jet", or "Stunt Team Jet", or something similar. It's a cute little thing, and it's almost in Mediaco colors. That fire truck is a smokin beast, far better than the mine loader as a set of similar size. Indeed, the new panels make perfect seats. The hose on top is likely a fast, poor quality render, and that is why it looks weird. I just hope the yellow 3L axles are only used sparingly. I mean, what are people confusing them with? The dragster is smokin as well, although I really hope the blue is just light blue and not another shade. The Helicopter... I'm a little bit dubious about it, but it should be a good source of orange and white panels, and might have other parts. The rotor head assembly looks quite similar to my concepts, although there is only one mini turntable, and it appears to drive a perpendicular double bevel gear. Could we possibly see a new 28z bevel gear, or is there a more likely explanation? The cargo element is slightly lame, but it could maybe interact with the getaway racer, it seems like that would fit in the cargo bay. It is heavily paneled, and we can see at least 1 transmission switch on the side. I'm not sure about the rear wheels, they might just be crudely mocked up. Lastly, I don't really see any way for the rudders to move at all. As a whole, it looks really... Russian.

Kind of a cross between this:

Anyone has any idea where the battery box of the Copter might be? The 5x11 panels look like they are attached tightly to another, unlike those in the Cargo Plane. My guess is that it either lies in the cargo bay, which requires opening bottom / rear cargo doors, or lies right above the cockpit, because those panels up there seem most detachable.

Hmm. I have mixed feelings about these.

I'm definitely buying 2 of the dragster for the wheels (I don't want to buy two tumblers), but the prelim model looks a bit rougher than I was hoping. It might just become a parts set for me.

I'll buy the mining loader for sure to add to my "yellow set" shelf, even if it's not overly complex.

The airport rescue vehicle looks intriguing though, I like it, but I'm not sure why yet. I'm curious what the underside looks like.

I had big hopes for the helicopter, and it's a decent looking model, but the heavy use of panels hides a lot of the mechanic bits I like to see in my sets.

. As a whole, it looks really... Russian.

I couldn't agree more. That was my first thought

It looks that the Fire truck got new white seats? And the helicopter too, but the blue ones?

Max...

Not really new seats, they are the new L-panels used in the rear of the Mine Loader and Hydroplane.

If we are lucky the black hose in the helicopter gets swapped with a 19l flex axle. I doubt it though:/ It also seems like the helicopter has (manual?) rudders at the rear end, considering how they are mounted.

The dragster brings at least 4 panels in that medium azure, the 11x3, the bent 11x3 and a pair of the tiny panels.

The tiny plane features another pair of the 7l black flex axles as well as 3 pairs of the tiny panels in white.

Interestingly enough though it doesn`t seem like there are any really new parts in this wave besides the new panel or am I missing something?

At the front wheel mudguard of the fire rescue, there seems to be an axle in yellow?

Dragster looks as though it could do with one more design iteration to get it looking right, but with tumbler wheels, rare colours and the possibility of a new gearbox I think I'll be getting one or two.

I can see a 3M axle on the fire trucks crane arm. I hope they aren't making the colour vomit situation even worse!

The top front tilting panel assembly seems to me free from the lower side, which may be hiding the battery.

My thoughts!!

-Dragster: I like it! The colour scheme is cool, the engine and exhaust are just what I wanted! But the front doesn't look as good.

-Helicopter: The number of panels make it look like strange. It aslo doen't have inclination on the blades. I think that the old one (which I have) is better.

-Fire truck: Not really interested in this one. I like the use of the curved panel as a seat, but it isn't as interesting.

-Stunt plane: I will probably get it just because it's very cheap.

My though is that the helicopter will have only three functions :

The landing gear

The rotating blades

The winch with automatic closing bay(notice the little steering wheel)

I wouldnt say thats a heavy load it carries... but i liked it, all these sets.

Now we can confirm that the helicopter is the 1H flagship?

Kinda rare to see a motorized 1H set these days, which means that only 1 or tops 2 of the 4 2H sets will be motorized.

They will probably be optionally motorized, like the (hight number) 3 sets this year. Maybe all of them.

I want to get excited about 2016 Technic, but the first half is just such a disappointment from the prelim pics, I just have to keep remembering some of these are prelim, but to me they all look half finished, colour choices are out there more than I think we have likely seen before.

Maybe when I see the finished boxes thinks will be better. Those tyres on the Dragster are good, can see it being popular for that reason.

If you look at the picture of the helicopter, Right above the IM in image, there seems to be a changeover catch indicating a gearbox. Also, if you look closely on the top of the firetruck there is a tan 20-tooth double bevel, I wonder if it controls the firearm or steering. If it controls the arm, I am curious as to how TLG went about routing the two axles for movement, there a joint on top the truck, then the elbow in the arm.

I think all of these bigger sets will be a pass for me unless the fire truck is reasonably priced or a sale on the helicopter. Right now the go kart seems to be my favorite out of all of these

As for the battery box of the Helicopter, I think it is right under the rotors. There is a vertical white beam protruding right behind the vertical orange beam, which can serves as the battery box switch.

Somebody did say that, but they look yellow in the picture.

Maybe in the Class Xerion they might be green, to represent the brand more, id personally like to see, metallic or chrome pistons, as they would add more realism to our fake little engines that dont turn as fast as they should.
