Lyichir Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I think the purple color looks great, but the main problem is having more parts available in that color. Everything has to start somewhere. There are already a few Technic pieces in the same color (Medium Lilac) from other themes, and I'm hoping that its official debut in the actual Technic theme proper will open the floodgates for many more. aminnich Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 What's the yellow axle near the headlight? Quote
radar92 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 That's interesting, looks to be a yellow 7L axle, Lego maybe adding more color coding. Or yellow parts for the 42053 Volvo EW160E to give a cleaner look. I can't wait to see it, I want it scaled to the Unimog. Quote

radar92 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Yea I don't expect it that big (unimog), but I can dream. If anything I'll upscale it. I'll be crushed it turns out to be a $20 set. That and the tractor are what I'm really waiting to see. Quote

sm1995 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I'd call that burgundy, though. ALSO: I wonder why the "P" from the numberplate was 'shopped out? True, in reality it's way more "red-ish" than purple. No idea tbh. How did you know it was a P though Quote
tibivi Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 On other words anyone notice the new~ish 3L transmission white slider used on the roof? you're right about this, but wat part is the axle going trough it? it seems black or DBG but it must be a 3L axle. because it can't be the new-ish DBG 2L pin with 1L axle nor black 2L axle with 1L pin, or am i missing something here? tibivi Quote
DavSod Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Looking at the image on the box there seems to be DBG pins in the roof Quote

AOW Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Which excavator?Volvo or bucket wheel good :) Tell me something we will have then two Volvo sets in near future correct? The existing "excavator" (loader) and New "bicket wheel" ? Regards Quote
Erik Leppen Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Why do I see black 3L axles? Or what pieces are used in the roof conencted to the white transmission-slider parts? It can't be the new black 3L pins, nor the dark-gray 3L pins. Quote

Regards No, only one volvo loader EW160E and bucket wheel excavator is something different, really different http://media.thyssenkrupp.com/images/press/thyssenkrupp_p_831.jpg . Quote

Technic Jim Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I think they are 3L black axles The FLL Trash Trek set has about 18 2L axles in black. The 2L axles in black aren't new; I've got a couple. However, I think the 3L are. Quote
radar92 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Which excavator?Volvo or bucket wheel Well the 42053 Volvo EW160E, I don't think I could get the wife to sign off on a 8110 scale bucket wheel. As cool as it would be. :) Quote

Dafgek81 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Indeed the Volvo, a bwe doesn't interest me, love big mining machines, but only draglines, excavators except for bwe, dumptrucks and wheelloaders. I really hope TLG will build a big mining dumper. Also like the 42030 loader, didn't buy it, will try to build his little brother MOC from MLonger, the L250G Quote
