So it's a new TLG strategy or has this happen already? I mean combining 2 sets....

Since TLG has been releasing two pullback sets a year (2013), this has been happening.

Seems to work well as people are "forced" to buy both....this means extra $$$$$$$$

It was already used in previous pullbacks and in action-figures since they've appeared.

Do we have confirmation that 42051 and 42052 are H1 sets?

The 42052 is included in the review sets, but the 42051 seems to be appearing later. Although I think it will be 1H.

In the past the first such combination was the:

42011 is still my favorite pullback racer as well, i kinda regret not picking a few extra of those, such a pretty little model (with the top panels behind the cockpit changed to white i like to imagine a Ferrari 312T2), and a good source of red panels as well

Let's keep the discussion on-topic guys. Feel free to make a new topic.

The hydro model B looks to me more of a thing than A. The jet's B is very cool.

and I hope they are not sending Sariel only the revealed sets.

the jet b model is great...but...i think i will use the propellar blades from 42020 on it instead of those small white panels.

It is already used...

image too big

Max...

i built the A of both of these first....then built the B as it was a better looking model and build experience....it was around 300 parts used.

i kept the B model build on my self......

Can you upload a picture from the box of 42052? Very curious how it looks compared to the preliminary version.

Remember December 1, December 1 :classic: .Lego will not be happy if something leak before.

I'm just asking for the front picture of the box, nothing more. I think that won't do LEGO any harm?

If you haven't checked out the promotional video for the excavator you must!!

I'm curious to see what setup LEGO chooses for the model. This meaning the arm style and type of bucket and the tire pattern.

What on earth am I looking at here?

Looks like a Mars rover and a dump truck had one really ugly baby

Which part of "Let's keep the discussion on-topic" didn't you understand?!

jim...will you also be reviewing the B models?...the instructions for the stunt plane and hydro plane will be in the box.

The Stunt Plane, maybe. Depends on whether I have some time left. I have sent the Mine Loader and Hydro Plane to Mostlytechnic. He will review both sets, so I am not sure whether he will build the B-model.

I won't post ANY pictures before the 1st of December. Usually I don't even mention I have the sets, to avoid questions like this. I am even careful with posting written information. When someone (TLG) gives you the possibility to review new sets, you respect the deadline....period!

The bucket will be that of 42043 as in the video on lego when Markus described the new parts

Maybe he talked about bucket wheel excavator also.

Question is if this will be small set or medium sized , if small I dont expect some breathtaking details.

Whoa, take it easy there big guy. I read up to that post and immediately quoted it without looking at the posts below. My bad.

Shoot. I have a lot of interest in 42051, but it's also the set we have very little knowledge about at this point.

Same here. That's pretty much the only 1st half set I'm willing to spend money on. From the prelim images it looks like it has a decent number of those big flat panels so I think i might get it anyway..
