Ngoc Nguyen Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I saw that there are 2 mini turntables in the B model. In the A model one is already beneath the rotors. Where can the other one be? Quote

Trango Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Agree. Heli wasn't my cup of tea but as Jim gently indicated a few pages back, it might be nicer than I anticipated. Looking at the larger images linked here that only confirms this. Cargo door underneath the heli as well as ramp. And sliding cargo door on the B model. Could this be a good base for a Chinook C model? All in all pleasantly surprised! Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 If we look at the copters from the back we'll get a face vomiting a green blob haha. Quote
timtimgo87 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 They have changed the cargo from blue to regular green. With 42052 we will finally get the 3x11 panel in regular green (good for mocs with 42008). Interesting that it is not the bright green panel from 42039. Also interesting that TLG uses the new panels for seats in the helicopter. Quote
sm1995 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Oh man, the b-model for the helicopter looks rough. As far as mechanics/features go the A-model looks quite dissapointing tbh. I would've at least expected a pair of mini LAs to operate the ramp. I was anticipating a working swashplate too but in hindsight that may have been too much to ask for. The upside is it seems to have a massive number of panels... Quote
AOW Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) I must say that this helicopter is quite nice and will be fun to play for kinds as well as good source or parts for AFOL - for me still best looking was 8856 :) On another hand the 42052 does look from the back a bit as Mi-26 ..... they could make a License :) :) Regards Edited November 30, 2015 by AOW Quote

Paul Boratko Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I must admit that I enjoy reading posts like this And this I must say that with all of the recent sets that have come out in white, I am surprised that this part still doesn't exist in that color.. Quote
Jim Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Hehe I am not entirely sure what you mean with that part, in that (LBG?) color? Or do you mean another color? Quote
Paul Boratko Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Hehe I am not entirely sure what you mean with that part, in that (LBG?) color? Or do you mean another color? I meant that with all of the recent sets in white that I was surprised that part wasn't available in that color, meaning white. I just used a pic of it from bricklink to show what part that I was talking about.. Jim, what do you think the chances of the new Heli having any really great extra part(s) will be..? Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Jim will say something like "the answer will be available in several hours". Quote

Jim will say something like "the answer will be available in several hours". he probably would. Quote
Appie Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 What size of Black flex axle is that on the cockpit of the helicopter? Could it be 19L? I think it is 13L Looks like 16L to me. Do I win a cookie if Jim's review says 16L? Quote
Geekphysique Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Just curious, what timezone is the December 1st restriction applicable in? I'm about as far west in Canada as one can get, so I'm wondering if as soon as Dec 1st rolls around for our favorite reviewers in Poland/Netherlands if we will have have something fun to watch/read over here tonight. I'm not trying to nag, I'm just really excited to see what Jim and Sariel have to say about the new stuff. Quote
Jim Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 There is no clear instruction on the timezone. I always use the Dutch timezone. Quote
Geekphysique Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 That's good news for me :-) Thank you. Quote
Jim Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 That's good news for me :-) Thank you. I will not wait till midnight to post the reviews. Instead I will post them early in the morning. So my reviews will be popping up in about 15 hours Quote
Kaanere Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Now the true question... what reviews should I watch first? Jim's or Pawel's? Quote
Geekphysique Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 That's perfect. It will give me something enjoyable to read on my commute to work. My wife has already accepted the fact that I'm going to be watching videos from "that hamster guy" on our home theatre as soon as they are available. Quote
RangGagaGing Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I will probably go Jim - Sariel - Jim - Sariel - Jim - Sariel etc. till January 1st when they become available... Quote
zux Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 What size of Black flex axle is that on the cockpit of the helicopter?Could it be 19L? It looks 16-19L to me.That helicopter looks better when proper pictures are published, but still more of parts pack for me. I wonder if it'll break 42025 record for most panels in single set? Quote
