Jim Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I wonder if it'll break 42025 record for most panels in single set? How many panels does the 42025 have? 50? 42039 - 47 42025 - 50 42052 - ? Quote
Vectormatic Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Hey Jim, what time (dutch time zone would be easy :P) does the NDA expire tomorrow? I'd rather be clued in then refreshing this thread every minute while pretending im working :P Quote

Emmi Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 42052 Heavy Lift Helicopter looks amazing! After seeing the prelims I was sceptical but after seeing the high-res images of the box I'm almost sold, just waiting for Jim's review now Quote
GoldVillage Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 It looks 16-19L to me. That helicopter looks better when proper pictures are published, but still more of parts pack for me. I wonder if it'll break 42025 record for most panels in single set? Almost, i think it has 49 Quote
Vectormatic Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I hate to be rude, so I will be gentle.....but please make a habit of scrolling through some of the recent posts before you ask a question Apologies, i tend to keep up, but only skimmed the last page for pics, my own mistake i suppose. Anyway, good news! Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) Heli seems to have working rudder, check out the tail fins! EDIT Also working rear wing, check out arrows on box's rear side! Edited November 30, 2015 by Zblj Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 It looks 16-19L to me. I'd say it is 19L... The panel is 5L long and 3L wide --> ~6L needed to curve around x2 + 5L in the center + 2L for the end points = 19L in total And I think it uses two of them in the B-model assuming the cockpit is symmetrical. Another 12 hours and we'll know for sure... Quote
D3K Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) Definitely 19L! I made this mock up just to be sure: Using a white 19L axle obviously, but it fits like in the pictures, so I can't see it being any other length Edited November 30, 2015 by D3K Quote
Ilko Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I think that the helicopter looks better just because of the quality of the pic. Nothing has changed much from the preliminary images except some stickers and the cargo on the bottom. Quote
JBTechnic Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 (edited) The 42054 Claas Xerion 5000 TRAC VC sounds promising. The fact that is a 2h set, sounds like it will be a bigger tractor (picture looks like a tractor) than ever before! Does anyone know whether the Xerion will be the top 2h model? Edited November 30, 2015 by JBTechnic Quote
Emmi Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Judging by the set number, BWE will be the flagship set of 2016 - however the "biggest" set will be "Ultimate IP Vehicle", rumored as first Technic UCS set ever. Xerion and Volvo seem to be the smaller sets of 2H. Quote

andythenorth Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I saw that there are 2 mini turntables in the B model. In the A model one is already beneath the rotors. Where can the other one be? Inside the body of the chopper, driving the second rotor, so they both rotate at the same speed? I'm guessing... Quote
Kaanere Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 So the Xerion will be more likley the same size as the 9393 tractor? No, more like the 42029 custom pick-up. Quote
Ondra Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 So the Xerion will be more likley the same size as the 9393 tractor? More likely 1000-1300 set something like customized pickup. Quote
Andy D Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 When reviews are available (maybe in 2 hours), will there be a "Front Page" announcement? Just waiting, and waiting and waiting... Andy D Quote

Mestari Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 An obvious thought just struck me - the red fire engine has been withdrawn to make all the necessary changes to incorporate LOTS of red #3 connectors! Why haven't we thought of that before? ;) Quote
Saberwing40k Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Because of the fact that Youtube is Sariel's host of choice, and their servers are located in California. Quote
