Maya Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 (edited) It is a waffle, and it's printed; not stickered. My son has one, it came in the Double Decker Couch set from Lego Movie. It's not the same one as the one you are talking about. The new waffle/apple pie piece is a quarter of a flat round tile. You can see the close-up image of the pieces below: http://news.toyark.c...-friends-192303 See image #17. Edited March 24, 2016 by Maya Quote
Soupperson1 Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 No one is talking about how poop now counts as an accessory? I would've never have thought of this theme including such a thing, but I guess the dogs couldn't keep it in. :P Quote

The big image shown on the back of Puppy Day Care shows Mia scooping up some dog poop, and I thought that was funny. What a way to use the chocolate ice cream piece... LegoMyMamma Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 The puppy treats (printed 1x1 round tiles) and paw prints are welcome! I think puppy poop using that piece is hilarious ... I mean, why not, it's been used that way in MOCs. The slices do look more like Apple Pie than waffle -- with a "woven" lattice top crust look: Waffle tile: I'm rooting for Apple Pie and we can add Vanilla Ice Cream (not chocolate for sure now ) Quote

It definitely looks like a pie in that photo, I love it! Either way, it looks like a great set for parts. I'm really liking the watermelon slices too. Quote
Toc13 Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I'm going with treacle tart given the lattice top. Surely a pie should have a full-cover top Quote

CM4Sci Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Oh, wow it's an actual school! I thought it was a, um ballet school. Or something. Looks cool! Love the bus! Quote
Soupperson1 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Am I crazy or those Jill have a new hairpiece? Quote
just2good Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 It's the performance school. I believe it was a rumored set some time ago. Quote
Maya Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) What a great find! Thank you! Am I crazy or those Jill have a new hairpiece? I think so! At first I thought it might be Cinderella's wig, but the bangs are parted on the wrong side, and it doesn't look like the new girl has a bun or the headband like Cinderella. Anna's hair in black? Anna from Frozen has a hat and two braided pigtails. And Anna from Friends has a short bob haircut. The new girl seems to have a new hairpiece that looks like a ponytail. I can't wait to see a clearer image. Edited April 18, 2016 by Maya Quote
Legocity2713 Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Really awesome set, especially the school bus. Perfect for Otto's bus from The Simpsons. (Albeit smaller) Quote
Maya Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 You are absolutely right, CM4Sci! I totally forgot about Arendelle Castle Celebration Anna, and the new girl's wig is definitely Anna's wig in black! Sorry, my bad! So, does the presence of a school bus imply that Heartlake City is somewhere in the US or Canada? Quote
TomKraut Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 So, does the presence of a school bus imply that Heartlake City is somewhere in the US or Canada? I always got a strong North America vibe from the Friends theme, so if it had to be somewhere in the real world, HLC would probably be located there. The name alone is a pretty strong hint. I really like that school building, but I think I can pass on this one. Store exclusives are usually only sold at Lego Stores and TRU here in Germany, which means it is unlikely that there are good discount opportunities. I still might build it though, shouldn't be too hard with a few BnP/BL orders. As for the school bus, I have to admit that the Friends vehicles are getting better over the years (which isn't hard...) but City is still much better in this regard. Doesn't matter though, I enjoy creating vehicle MOCs in Minidoll scale. As my cars are 6w+, a school bus would have to be at least 7w+, probably 8w. Cheers TomKraut Quote

Though some things do suggest Europe e.g. the map in Heartlake High, the small diversity, the pastel buildings, pink lighthouse ect. Quote

Actually, there's one other piece of evidence that suggests that it takes place in the Americas. The Heartlake Grand Hotel set's sticker sheet includes three clocks displaying the time in Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Heartlake City. The time difference displayed suggests that Heartlake City uses Eastern Standard Time (UTC -5), which corresponds with the east coast of the U.S. along with some Canadian provinces and parts of South and Central America. AnnaBuildsLego Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 I hope the interior is relatively school-like, because wow, that looks great! I have to say, the set really appeals to me because it'll give me a bus to go with the bus stop from the City Fun in the Park set. Quote

Wow. That is a really well put together theory. I always thought of it as an East Coast Cape Cod community, but with Livi I got a heavy Miami vibe, especially from the set with her house. Quote

I reckon some of it will be "Performance School" based, so a music studio or a ballet room. Though there does appear to be six rooms (which is twice that of Heartlake High) so I assume we'll get classrooms, a bathroom and a cafeteria as well. Quote
Rick Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 I don't think there's a second (third if you're in the US) floor. So probably four different rooms. Quote

The image only seems to show up to the depth of the facade and nothing else unless it is hidden on the left wing (from our vantage point). If it does I may have a hard time passing up this set. Quote
