Bricksnaps Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Thanks for the DpI Picked up both of these today at legoland Florida, they got an early shipment. Both sets are really attractive in the boxes. Quote
El Garfio Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 A question! Have Snowwhite an Belle been released as minidoll's Disney Princesses by LEGO? Because one thing is copying and other starting to design new characers? Quote
Hythonia Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 That Snow White hair is identical to the actual character's... is this a sign of those two finally being made? Quote
Dorayaki Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 (edited) Of course the pics show fake cloners, do you mean that LEGO has leaked the parts so that cloners could get it even earlier? Otherwise, it meansthat the cloners have improved so fast that they can design original molds by themselves.... This Snow White is really close to my imagination. The Belle hairpiece seems not good enough. Edited November 29, 2015 by Dorayaki Quote
El Garfio Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 The Belle pic from the page is awful. "In person", wins a lot. I don't know if they are "distracted" molds or the inspiration of a Chinese designer, but they are quite good and quite accurate of what the official LEGO minidolls could be. The hair/wig plastic is more like the minifig ones (rigid) than like the minidolls ones (gummy). Quote
8BrickMario Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 While they're clearly fake, they look excellent, and would definitely convince me to get official versions. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 The printing on the hair bow is though. Quote
Soupperson1 Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 The advertisement for the Palace Petes has Pochahonats cuddling Wildflower, I can't see why they'd advertise her if we aren't going to get her soon Quote
lottie_cat Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Soupperson1, is that on the back of the box? Had a good look at the front of the packaging, but can only see the group pet artwork... Or do you mean in general? Palace Pet toy advertising usually has the relevant Princess cuddling their latest pet on the packaging. On the grounds every other pet has their respective owner though, I'd be shocked if we didn't get Pocahontas soon :) Fingers crossed! Quote
K4kitty Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Gah, why can't TLG release the Frozen sets here in the UK in time for Xmas? :( Quote
just2good Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Here's a look at the smallest of the new LEGO Frozen sets! This set, well, I don't like the value too much. Kids will love it but their parents will look at it as overpriced. For a $30 set, they could've put a lot more in here. But, the sleigh build is very good, and the store is nice except that it's so darn small. Quote

One look at this set - the box size, the piece count, the models - tells you it's a $20 pricepoint set, but instead it's $30. Sven is the only thing that could possibly make the set worth more than 20, but even then, it's a stretch. The Arendelle Castle isn't quite as bad because at least you get a substantial-enough build for your money. By the way, it's 'Oaken's' trading post, not 'Daken.' The font used is a bit misleading. Quote
OmShanti Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 The new Frozen castle looks amazing, I just adore that fireplace! Lots of great parts in that set. Here's hoping for Snow White and Belle in the near future. Since Anna and Elsa aren't technically princesses and they're included in this theme, it would be fabulous to see an Alice in Wonderland set. That would be a dream come true, as it was a childhood favorite. The original story is far better than the disney version, but I''d happily settle for it (even if Alice's hair is inaccurately blonde). Windflower is adorable, would fit in with Elves animals easily. Ah, my bad on Oaken. But yeah, pretty darn lame with the price point. Quote
Robert8 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 (edited) The reindeer looks good but it would look gigantic next to a regular minifigure. --- About Belle and Snow White: Those hairpiece are totally on point Edited December 3, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
TheWoodenLeg Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 (edited) I wish lego would hurry up and release these frozen sets in europe. Its getting frustrating now. Edited December 8, 2015 by TheWoodenLeg Quote
just2good Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Here's a look at the Palace Pets Royal Castle set! It's uh... not bad at all. For the target demo, I think this is actually a super fun and good set. It's cheap and has a lot of play to it. For adults, there's some great pieces, like the purple branch. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 That's actually not a bad set. Some good pearl gold pieces, white arches, and of course the purple leaf. Sorry, I haven't been following this line at all, what's the price point on 41142? Quote
K4kitty Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Oh yes! An Alice in Wonderland set would be amazing! Quote
Monkey Joe Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) Was the Olaf polybag ever released? Edited December 15, 2015 by Monkey Joe Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Was the Olaf polybag ever released? Sooooooon. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Wheeeeeeere?? (lol) Well I'm guessing it'll be an exclusive giveaway with a purchase thing in February maybe. I dunno, Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Since Anna and Elsa aren't technically princesses and they're included in this theme, it would be fabulous to see an Alice in Wonderland set. It would be, but I think they bent the rules for Frozen only because Anna and Elsa are indeed going to be the next two official DPs anyway, and because the movie is so popular and successful that they don't want to wait around for the formal coronation(s) to begin making money on it in the DP line, lest they leave money on the table. I don't think either of those considerations is in play for Alice in Wonderland. Quote
