Posted August 3, 20159 yr Location: B06, Sorn Tags: MANTIS, Vehicle, Exploration Job: Driver Start Log: Another water mission this week, but I got to drive a boat for the first time. And not any standard boat at that, the HC-2 is a pretty nifty piece of machinery, or maybe I should say pieces of machinery, as it's really two vehicles in one. Plus I got to see one of the new MANTIS subs in action. Our task was to chart as much of B06 as possible, to decide on best locations for future MANTIS bases, refineries, and comm stations. August 3, 20159 yr Wow. I can't believe that holds up. Just amazing and epic in it's proportions. Obviously a lot of thought and structural reinforcement went into that layer of water. Beautiful underwater plants and features, also. Mega kudos.

August 3, 20159 yr Awesome stuff! I love how the rock pillars poke up through the water and all the greenery on the seafloor. Not to mention the boat and subs, which are all amazing!
August 3, 20159 yr Love the colors used for the water, adds a perfect amount of brightness to this build! The sub-dropping vehicle is really cool too! Great work on the rock pillars as well; it can be really hard to get those to look organic and you did an excellent job!
August 3, 20159 yr Wow, what an amazing scene! The sea floor and the various plants and colors are excellent, and the three rock pillars that hold up the surface of the water are impressive! As always, your vehicles are top-notch. Fabulous submarine design, and the HC-2 boat is fantastic! I like the opening hatch on the sub and all of its propellers.
August 3, 20159 yr The dual level with rocks sticking out is fantastic. The boat with drone has an official set feel to it, I'd buy one! I like how you included the little internal bay on the sub too, a very nice play feature. Overall this is one of the best water scenes AG has seen.
August 4, 20159 yr Your scenery is great! Is your boat a hover boat? It is neat how you have made it look more sci-fi then just any ordidary boat you'd see on the water today.
August 5, 20159 yr Stupendous scene SK, the underwater is fantastic, from the floor to the rock-work to the vegetation! - but you just kept piling awesomeness on top! Lovely water up there, I really like the way it is supported only by the rock-work! Superb boat and subs as well!
