gdugaucquier Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) So I finally got my own 3d-printer and made my own helmet for Gondor. I tried Pippin first. I still have problems to print the decals in high resolution, so any tips are welcome. (the one you see in the picture is photoshoped, but I made it, based on the game). Ways to improve are very welcome. Edited August 3, 2015 by gdugaucquier Quote
Hammerhand Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Very nice! That is probably the best custom Gondor helm that I've seen so far, looks just like the ones in the game. Quote
Spud The Viking Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Awesome creation. May I ask how much your printer costed? I was interested in doing some printing myself but the price of printers put me off. Quote
gdugaucquier Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 It was a Kickstarterproject: the Micro3d. It was affordable :) Quote
Wardancer Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Very nice! That is probably the best custom Gondor helm that I've seen so far... Exactly my opinion. Very well done. Quote
