Palixa And The Bricks Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Hi everyone, I'd like to present you my latest MOC. The residents of my Lego city needed some green space and their kids some place to play. So, here it is: a big playground in the courtyard with a wooden pirate ship and a little sand pit. It's surrounded by the Microsoft Store, the modified Green Grocer, the Main Post Office and the Mom & Pop Store and Garage. I got the idea for the ship here and had a lot of fun building it, especially since it was a little bit out of my comfort zone. I hope you like it. C&C are welcome. Quote
BlockLogo Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 That looks great! I really like how it looks with the rest of your city, and how it makes the back so displayable. Quote
Agent 86 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Very cool. This is a really unique idea which I think was executed very well. Quote
Xyver Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 That small boat/fort is awesome and I really like how you've done the path Quote
peedeejay Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Sweet! Some nice details. I also love how it fits into your modular layout. Quote
greg3 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Clever idea, nicely executed!! I really like the pirate ship!! Have you thought about adding some colour though? Most playgrounds near me (especially in urban areas) are brightly coloured. Thanks for sharing. Quote
Palixa And The Bricks Posted August 6, 2015 Author Posted August 6, 2015 Thank you for your nice comments. I'm really happy that you like it :) Clever idea, nicely executed!! I really like the pirate ship!! Have you thought about adding some colour though? Most playgrounds near me (especially in urban areas) are brightly coloured. Thanks for sharing. Yes, I thought about that, but I wanted to build a more natural playground with wooden materials in contrast to the more colourful buildings. Quote
Kristel Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Love this! Awesome idea to fill that space, and beautifully executed. Quote
