Kliq Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 The set pics are freaking amazing, and I can't wait to buy multiples of the two ground-based vehicle sets. I kind of missed the boat with Adventurers, but then again there weren't really any generic qualities about them like there are here. Quote
iamded Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 These descriptions sound great! I noticed they said 'treasure', not 'Ark of the Covenant'. I can't wait to see someone's review of these sets, and to see pics of the new ones! ~Peace Off topic; I noticed my name at the bottom of the screen is now blue! I feel special! X-D Quote

X-D _______ Some cliche-capital-lettering-post-about-stalking *skull* I noticed this too about the treasure! I think the Ark is in the Lost Tomb snake set though, but I guess they want variety ;-) Off-topic, blue you say, eh? easier to stalk you then! *skull* Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
jedikermit Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 And that Jungle Cutter, I can't wait to see it in lego form, it looks so Badass! >:-) Where did you see the non-LEGO version? Quote
Athos Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Here: Yuck, that's one ugly truck. Doesn't look much like an Indy vehicle to me... More like something from Tomb Raider or James Bond... I bet the Lego version is chock-full of bionicle pieces too... :-X Steve Quote
Batbrick Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 (edited) Yuck, that's one ugly truck. Doesn't look much like an Indy vehicle to me... More like something from Tomb Raider or James Bond...I bet the Lego version is chock-full of bionicle pieces too... :-X Steve ______ Well I think its cool, and i'm a big Indy fan. I can definitely see it cutting down any growth in its way. If it was actually a real vehicle I would like it a lot better though. Lets hope its not chock full of bionicle peices, I was hoping for a heap of useful parts :'-( And yes, Jedikermit, it is in the movie. I think. Vader Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I bet the Lego version is chock-full of bionicle pieces too... :-X Steve Now you mention it i'm willing to bet your right, i can see those cutters being bionicle that's for sure :'-( Quote
xwingyoda Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Now you mention it i'm willing to bet your right, i can see those cutters being bionicle that's for sure :'-( I find your lack of faith very disturbing my Lord :-P Viewing the very high standards set by the first wave of Indy sets (whgo would have thought they would be that excellent ? No one I bet), I can't see TLC doing something under par there !! For once I shall patiently wait for pics :-D But I doubt TLC will use that part for the cutters !! That would indeed suck. I'm sure they will make a new moukld for that ;-) *yoda* I think that part will be used or one like it, that and a conector of some sort is all i expect bionicle wise though. Quote
Looking for a display name Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 maby this for the blades? Quote
xwingyoda Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Maybe you're right Looking for a display name ;-) Vision it ion dark bley, get rid of that crappy sticker and we might have a winner :-P Even though I think they are a tad large for the Indy truck but who knows ;-) *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 maby this for the blades? Hmmm i had forgotten those pieces, i guess they could work for the truck. Lets be honest anything would look better than using bionicle. Quote
Batbrick Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 I would be perfectly fine with that Tiger Assault peice being used, no doubt TLC made it for multi purpose use ;-) Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
Markypops Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Hey guys, mentioned about the blades one page back. Also read the writing on the blade "LOCAL ENVIROMENTAL LOGGING WARNING! HEAVY DUTY DEFORESTER" Sounds more Indy based themed to me than what you would use in Exo-Force. Quote
Mr Spielbrick Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 So do we have final pics on all 4 Classic Trilogy sets? I've seen the finalized Motorcycle Chase, but the other 3 weren't all that definite when I saw them. Quote

Batbrick Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Good question, one that i'm not sure of to be honest. _______ I would imagine that the final sets would not differ much from the promos anyway. The "Nazis" will get the updated torsos, and some other final tweaks, but since we have seen the final box pic for the Motorcycle Chase, we should be seeing the other ones too I'd guess. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Sounds like some cool sets coming up... I must see them... -ZotS Quote

Batbrick Away! >:-) I still believe that lego won't do a new nazi torso, i think they will just use the naboo one like pictured. I hope i'm wrong but with legos cost saving measures you never know. I hope i'm wrong but with legos cost saving measures you never know. Vader, the new torso has been mentioned before in this thread, and can be clearly seen on the motorcycle box. This one uses a tan uniform with black "y"-belt instead of the futuristic naboo pilot torso. TT Quote

Zaktan of the Shadows Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 I'm actually kind of worried about what the Nazi's will look like in their final from (if they have one)... -ZotS Quote
sam89 Posted November 10, 2007 Author Posted November 10, 2007 The Nazis will look like this (final boxart): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/benlego/...aJones/7620.jpg They're pretty much generic soldiers. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I may have been optimistic, but I was hoping for TLC to make proper German Helmets. :-( Quote
