Mr Spielbrick Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Some people in some countries (USA again? Argh... Lucky kids) can already buy Indy Lego? I shall now jump up and down while eating my hat. A man's gotta do -something- to vent his frustrations. What's with the seperate release dates anyway? Not to mention the exclusives to the US. Isn't Lego originally European? So why are the Americans always getting the cool stuff (first)? I know, I know... Not on topic. But newsflashes like these tend to make me cringe. Quote

Until someone posts pics of the set in hand then i wouldn't believe it just yet. As for releases well yes the US gets sets first at times, but then so do us in europe. Take for example the fact that *yoda* had a lot of SW sets from earlier in the year months before those in the US, the US tends to get the xmas sets before us but then we tend to get the summer ones first. So it kinda works out even.....still annoying though X-D Quote

Mr Spielbrick Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 (edited) Oh... Well, if we're all alternating places on top and bottom of the foodchain, I'll stop complaining. :-) Speaking of pics though, I'd still love to see final versions of the other 3 classic Indy sets. Can't wait to find out what they've done with/to Belloq and Marion. Edited November 20, 2007 by Mr Spielbrick Quote
hollisbrick Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 i dont think they'll be that different. anyway we'll see in 2 months (hopefully sooner for Aus.)! Quote

Scouty Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 I'm keeping my eye out for sets, but the last store I went to didn't even have Lego, grrr. This is exciting, yet annoying X-D . Quote
Athos Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 No Indy yet, but my local TRU had the new police helicopter and mobile command center sets. (yes those are new handcuff pieces we were squinting at). Steve Quote

Vader Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Nice. I'm awfully tempted to get some new police sets to complement my Bat-sets... Would be great to get a Gordon fig in the new batsets, that way combing the 2 lines would be sweet. Quote
Batbrick Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Would be great to get a Gordon fig in the new batsets, that way combing the 2 lines would be sweet. __________ Not a bad idea actully, but in my opinion the old policestation works much better in its black and whit colour scheme, it suit Gotham more. I expect that we will see these Indy sets turn up though, since the other ones are! :'-) Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 New CITY 08 sets! Cool, anyway, I hope the Indy sets are out already, I would like some for Christmas! ;-) Quote
sam89 Posted November 24, 2007 Author Posted November 24, 2007 So it's true then . . . I found this on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-Lego-Indiana-Jone...1QQcmdZViewItem Quote

Username_Taken Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Is the grill piece on the front of the smaller car in the truck chase set a new piece? I've never seen it before. Quote

iamded Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Sweet! :'-) I still want to know if those boxes/crates are hollow. I sure hope they are... ~Peace Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I'm pretty sure the boxes are hollow. I can't really see TLC making a solid crate, as it would be very annoying for the upcoming city post sets. Can anyone make out what the new Nazi torso looks like? It certainly doesn't look like the naboo one. Being-Chased-By-Nazis-on-Motorcycles ON! Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 We know what the back of the boxes look like now at least! Quote
PSPguy Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Looking at all these Indy sets I noticed that they use revolvers in them. This kinda stinks for me because I have about 50 nrevolvers. :-| Quote
