hollisbrick Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 We know what the back of the boxes look like now at least! like what? i havnt seen them, any pics? Quote
jedikermit Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Can anyone make out what the new Nazi torso looks like? It certainly doesn't look like the naboo one. It's a new torso--if you dig through the 37 pages of posts in this thread, there's a hi-res pic where it's a bit easier to make out. Of course, even in that pic, it's partially obscured by the Nazi's arm, so...lets just say it's a new torso. Quote
Belloq Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Looking at all these Indy sets I noticed that they use revolvers in them. This kinda stinks for me because I have about 50 nrevolvers. :-| Actually if your talking about the revolvers from the Adventurers sets that came with revolvers, these have a different color. If you have the batcave, take one of the guns from the penguins and compare it to the Aventurers one. You'llnotice the new revolvers are kindda of a light grey blueish color. Quote
Athos Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 That's because all the adventurer sets were made pre-color-change, while the batman sets were all post-color-change... Steve Quote
Belloq Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 (edited) That's because all the adventurer sets were made pre-color-change, while the batman sets were all post-color-change...Steve exactly, at least these revolvers will have a different color. Edited November 25, 2007 by Belloq Quote
Athos Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 exactly, at least these revolvers will have a different color. So are we talking about a 3rd color? Steve Quote
Derek Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Some of the pictures from this Brickshelf show the NAzi fig and The Indy Sr. fig from the motor cycle chase. DP8 Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Thanks for the pics DP8. One thing I'm glad about about this theme is it comes out in the month of my birthday. Quote
Scouty Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Thanks for the folder darth! These are just fantastic *wub* !! Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Hmmm, for some reason, the Nazi's head looks huge! Quote
Scouty Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I think it's just the angle it was shot at. But I really like the head he has. Quote
jedikermit Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 That BS gallery also includes the biggest, clearest pic I've seen yet of the big Indy set: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Ronan-Is...logue_image.jpg You can even see Jock (sp?) in the plane! Quote
ExoBuilder Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I think it's just the angle it was shot at. But I really like the head he has. I like the head as well, I think it's the helmet that makes it look big. Quote

Sorry to tell you mate, but those pics are preliminary. Look at Indy's face in the Temple Escape. Notice anything? Also, look at the Nazis and at Sr. Hnery Jones. They are still the prototype versions. This pic is just a higher-def image of the protoype one we saw in the catalog that was discovered earlier in the year. The pic I have of Belloq is a prototype (looks like Lupin but without the scratches.) Quote
Piranha Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Also note the old grey cab on the truck ;-) Nice Pics though. Final Pics On! Quote
jedikermit Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Oh. Well, nevermind then. Do we know if Jock made the cut? Is he part of the big set or not? Quote
Scouty Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I'm fairly sure he'll be in there because he's on the top of the box ;-) . I wonder why they didn't call 7621 "Indiana Jones and the Well of the Souls" instead of the "Lost Temple". Quote
Vader Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Thanks for the folder darth! These are just fantastic *wub* !! The german soilder looks good, not great but good. However Henry Jones looks amazing *wub* the face just looks so right!! Quote
Batbrick Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 The german soilder looks good, not great but good. However Henry Jones looks amazing *wub* the face just looks so right!! __________ I agree, there is no possible way that it could be any more perfect than that! *wub* And those torsos! :'-) *wub* Thanks darthperson8! *y* To the Brickmobile! >:-) Quote
Tanotrooper Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 wow! lego made the effort to depict the y-belt and the mp40 pouches! Great job lego *wub* Sr. henry sr looks great, his helmet will be very useful and so will his cheap dark tan body (WWI mocs) I'll atleast buy 3 or so of this set :'-) TT Quote
Brainbox Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Y'know, more so than ever (and I thought it when we first heard about the sets), I think Lego's onto a winner. I mean, look at those figures. As if a, frankly, perfect Indy isn't enough, we get these two as well. Add to that the re-useability of the figs- the soldier torso, the Henry sr, etc are all good for MOCing, as are the pieces in the sets themselves. I really cannot wait for these, and I mean more so than is usual with new sets. Quote
jedikermit Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Is that the same soldier torso they're using in the Truck Chase? I assume so, but I don't recall seeing clear pics of the truck chase to be sure... Quote
