It looks like the whip has two different colors, which could mean two different plastics, which would support my theory from the many pages ago. I can't wait to hold that whip in my hand and see how well it bends and such:

I really, really hope you are right, a bendable whip would be a dream come true!

My bet here is that the handle is hard plastic, which I am really happy about because minifig hands going on and off of the softer plastic just keeps degrading and shaving it off. So, then, the whip would be soft plastic or a special kind of plastic that bends well or soft plastic with wire in the middle of it, which is doubtful, but one thing that would really make posable (and good for brickfilming)

I think you will find thats not a offical indy fig, it looks like the one being sold on ebay. It's been done by the same guy as some jedi i had him make and also the Vader in my avatar.

Thank you very much, Hinckley *wub* I see Marion has a black French braided hairpiece, and what looks like a switchable head *wub* And although the whip isn't bendable, at least we get a different one in the Egyptian and truck sets. But the Hovito hasn't been shown in the big set again :-/

Yeah, that was one of the first things I noticed too. That's disappointing. Still, everything else is fantastic. Can't wait to find these in stores. Except of course that I need to. :'-(

You know it does indeed look a bit like r2 and 3p0 X-D That would be a sweet nod to SW, It will be a damn shame if hovito is out of this set. I know it looks that way at the moment but i remember k3p0 not being in a lot of pics of the hoth base, but then he was included.

And are they going cheap on smacking Bruce Wayne's face on ALL secondary characters now? On all nazi's I would understand, but on Satipo as well? That's .... uninspired. As is the choice to recycle the new Draco Malfoy head for Belloq, if you ask me. Hmpf. Guess we can't complain too much.

G, you people can never be satisfied di you ? That Indy line is one of the best lines ever (from what we saw so far) and you still are not happy with those minor cost reduction :-P If they did a lot more new graphic head, it would probably inbcrease the production cost and for what ? not that much IMO.

Eeeeeeeeekkk!!!!!!!! You're right! It IS Malfoy's face! I just looked at the pic and it has the same cheekily evil smile! No new face for a Paul Freeman minifig? :'-(

Also, if they use the regular smiley face on Satipo they would be throwing away a chance to give us a minifig of Alfred Molina without glasses. Also, I see that they are reusing J. Jonah Jameson's face in the Nazi driver. These pics really give us an idea of what the Indy line will relly look like.

While it is a shame about the recycling of faces (a disappointing trend in all sets lately), here it doesn't bother me very much, since I'm not a fan of fleshtones and these heads will all go in the useless bin... except for the one for the Indy figure that will go on my desk, right next to the JT one that is already there...
