At the rear of the truck ?And it can't be the Ark since its a Last Crusade set ;-) *yoda* Seems to me that alot of our members need to go watch the films again X-D , the more i look at those sweet pics of the truck set the more i want it *wub* Those babys are gonna sell through the roof with all those WW2 fans out there. oo7 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 - the "confidential" stickers on the box images? I did notice those watermarks, but they're so hard to read I don't see the point in them being there....Anway, here's what I see in the set - - Indy - Belloq - One skeleton - One Hovitos - (obviously) a pilot for the water biplane - Alfred Molina dodging the spears near the right side of the box and it does look like he has black hair, tan top, and white trousers. If this is accurate, Molina and Harrison will be the only people who have two different Lego minifigures modeled after them. :-D Where do you guys see the chest ? At the rear of the truck ?And it can't be the Ark since its a Last Crusade set ;-) But I would love more parts to be chrome gold and pearl gold ;-) Haha, Vader's right. I do see a classic Lego chest now, possibly pearl gold in color. Although it would be nice to have one in gold, I don't really think it will make a good ark. 8-| I like Rev. Brendan Smith's (although a little big) or Mike Crowley's better. Quote
Lord Beckett Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Anybody else see a monkey with a bazooka on top of the truck or did I forget to take my medication? *wacko* LOL if there was a monkey with a bazooka in Indy and the Raiders of the lost Ark, believe me, I would have noticed... :-D But honestly, I can clearly see how you saw that. *sweet* Quote

Yeay loool, thayt monkey got what it deserved X-D Those dates weren't fresh :-P Burn those snakies Marion *wub* Don't move Indie :-P Nice little vehicle 8- Quote
Markypops Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I have to say amazing pictures but I do think these aren't the finished article. They to give us a taste of what is to come but look like the initial moc-ups used to get people (toy buyers) intersested in the product. We already know that Marion will have the new hair piece introduced in the castle line this year but in the pictures it looks like a Padme hair piece. However, what I did notice it there seems to be a new gun in Indys hand in the motorcycle chase set, it looks to have a slightly longer barrel than the standard western gun. *sweet* Quote
casewindu Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 WOW! this is a nice suprise comming home after a boring day at school :-D these look fantastic! the vehicle sets look amazing and new boxes! X-O (sorry if someone else pointed these out ;-) ) I have to get all of these! the figures look great and looks like the have stayed true to the adventure line! great find! *wub* Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Have the Nazi figs some furious heads like the ones from Luke Skywalker? I hope that they haven Quote
Athos Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Well there is a monkey in Raiders, though he was an evil monkey X-D Evil Monkey... Steve Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 G I can't find pics of that dead monkey X-D But here is a pic explaining why the 2 temple guardiand are black ;-) *yoda* Quote
Andrex Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Aaah Nazis! So we will be getting them. Now for Hitler :P. He so needs a cameo in the game. Then again some would find that offensive, so I don't really know. I agree with y'all, that Motorcycle chase *wub* I ADORE! If there's one set I buy it's probably that. Indiana Jones is a favourite of mine alongside Star Wars and Monty Python :-P I can't miss out on this ^^. Quote
Wout Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 - Indy - Belloq - One skeleton - One Hovitos - (obviously) a pilot for the water biplane - Alfred Molina dodging the spears near the right side of the box and it does look like he has black hair, tan top, and white trousers. If this is accurate, Molina and Harrison will be the only people who have two different Lego minifigures modeled after them. :-D Well, Warwick Davis did Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi (brown Ewok) and the goblin who sat behind the desk of Gringotts in Harry Potter and the philosophers stone and I think he was one of the goblins in the Gringotts set (the other goblin is obviously Griphook). So there will be 3 people with 2 different figs. Quote
DJ Force Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Maybe not but thats not what i said, i never once used the word "Fanatic". You might want to look up where the abreviation "fan" is coming from... Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I'm probably the most confused of all ~ I've never seen these movies! :'-( I gotta rent them: whats chronological order for these (i,e, which is first, then, next, last ) :-$ I can't buy the legos without knowing what I'm buildin'! :-D Yeay you better rent those masterpieces asap :-P here is the order: * Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark * Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom * Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade I will rewatch them myself this comming week ;-) *yoda* Quote
Corvus Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 (edited) Can't wait for better res pics, and trusty *yoda*'s review! :-P Don't you mean "persuasive" or "addicting"? Every time I look at them, I always end up with that set, even if I didn't want it earlier... And then I tell myself to stop reading them, and I'm darned if I didn't keep reading them... :-P You might want to look up where the abreviation "fan" is coming from... Why is the abbreviation of "fanatic" fan? "fan" is already a word- it makes no sense making the abbreviation "fan". It is confusing, and, as already happened, can accidentally insult someone... 8-| Edited September 14, 2007 by Mr. Mandalorian Quote
Piranha Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 (edited) Where do you guys see the chest ? At the rear of the truck ?And it can't be the Ark since its a Last Crusade set ;-) But I would love more parts to be chrome gold and pearl gold ;-) *yoda* :-D The truck set with the panzer truck is from Raiders of the Lost ARK The Last Crusade was about the Holy Grail Looks like you need to watch the movies more often X-D It is a Lego Chest in some gold color *wub* Also I would love to see that one wierd airplane, where Indy fights the real tough Nazi :-D in a set form I noticed something sweet,In the Largest set Indy is running from the boulder holding.........The Golden Idol!!!! Hard to see but I didn't notice it earlier Piranha Edited September 14, 2007 by Piranha Quote
lego.ryan Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I've never seen the movies nor do I want to see them, but these sets look amazing. I'll definitely get the $19.99 one, mostly because of the Marion fig. Actually, I might just get all of them. ;-) Quote
Shadows Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Ok, this isn't directed at anyone in particular, but how can you have not seen these movies yet be interested in the line? This is like Star Wars. Part of the theme revolves around the plot development of the movie. It would be impossible to accurately MOC the theme without knowing what happens and what to create. Maybe it's just me. Someone tell me I'm crazy here. Won't be the first time :-P Quote
Batbrick Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 (edited) >:-) Ha Ha Piranha! >:-) Let the corrector become the corrected! HAHAHAHA! Yes, I am evil! >:-) Anyway, I am so getting al these sets. Screw the Batank, the best thing in it apart from the figs was the motorcycle, I'll just get two of the Motorcycle Chase sets instead! *sweet* I also agree with imperialshadows, you can't not watch the movies. Buy the sets if you want, but you would be *wacko* not to see the source material first. Batbrick Away! >:-) Edited September 14, 2007 by Batbrick Quote
