Indy set pics for 2008

Yeah, that's what I like Batman for. It's not like a bunch of monsters, it's more a bunch of people finding out who has the better strategy, the better strengths, the less open weaknesses. In the bike chase, I can only so far see two revolvers in Indy and what appears to be Jones's dad's hands. Whoever the third guy is(sets with three minifigs and three bikes are AWESOME) he has to have some weapon, Luger *wub* or not!

Mind you that Riva was/and still is the finest wooden motor boats ever made ;-)

And I'm not saying that because its italian :-P

My dad had a Chris&Craft as a kid, so I know my motor boats :-P Then he swithed to a Magum Marine, then to a Setton *wub*

One of my dad's friends in Olympia, WA, has a CC that he bought and modified. The engine sounded so amazing! Shamed all the mass-produced sports boats out there. X-D

Anyway;

Great sets from that movie would include the classic good vs bad combination. For instance, here are some examples of sets I reallyt would love to see:

* Attack of the tank: rescue Jones senior from the nazis bad guys

* Escape from he zeppelin: will the Jones escape the nazis bad guys (one biplane + one 2 wings planes)

* Escape from Venice: will Indy and Elsa escape Kazim and the guardians of the Grail within Venice canals ?

Ones like that wold be great. On the tank set, all the bricks would be put toward the tank, rather than one good set, and one of the other side, like Ryo's little flying thing in the combat crawler. :-X It depends on how they split the set, I guess.

Actually the bat tank would be a good starting point for that set ;-) 3 major parts: 2 treads and the body ;-)

I guess all the upcomming sets depend on how well the WWII vehicles and nazis bad guys are perceived within the community !!

If the all the bricks were to go to the tank then Indy can still have a horse.

You could even split the tank battle into TWO sets.

One with tank and indy on horse and the other with Sallah and Donovan's car, as well as a badguy carrier that gets blown up in the film!

Hogan's Heroes!

Just picture it. Schultz driving the motorcycle, Klink in the sidecar that Hogan and his men have recently 'fixed' and then falling over as Burkhalter drives through the front gate in his half-track to bring Klink his new secret code book, that clearly our boys need to steal.

We'd get tons of great vehicles to blow up, trains to blow up, munitions factories to blow up, chemical labs to blow up, bridges to blow up, train tunnels to blow up ... this is becoming a pattern. Well, they'd get a lot of use out of those old dynamite tiles at least.

Oh yes... the possibilities! *wacko*

Wouldn't need a new mold, you could just use a grey lightsaber blade, with some printing on it.

Actually I see 2 of those big statues ;-)

One is on the right and stands up, and the other one is on the left and falling down ;-)

Too bad they're not to scale. :-( And the arms look like exo-force robot arms! :-D I do like how they added the feature where the statue knocks over. They should have expanded on the set so you can knock over the statue, and it breaks away part of the wall (like the new castle set) and there is another small room with skeletons! :-) Now THAT would be cool! *y*

Also, on the truck chase scene, it the back of it a canvas material covering it?

I see lego is giving us the car with the turrent on the back, but personally, I would have rather seen the black car instead. Or both. You know what I'm saying? ;-)

I think the canvas looks like a lego peice, it is hard to tell though.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean about running out of room, I'm confined to a tiny little basement!

But the big set from ROTLA with the boulder looks kinda fun! The rest don't look like they have to many 'playable' features, if you know what I mean! :-)

I guess it all depends on what you consider playable ;-) Swooshing cool vehicles is not playable enough for you ?? :-P

I thing the Egyptian Temple where Indy finds the Ark with Salah, has that kind of playability: the statue seems to be falling down and I don't think its only for the box art's sake ;-)

Your right, my interpetation of playable is different from yours, and other people's! ;-) I don't really 'swoosh'. People around me think lego itself is immature enough! :-D :-P ..... ;-)

I would like to see more aircrafts, though. I'm running out of space, or I should say I have ran out of space for everything else, I mean, my eiffel tower is sitting on the floor! So at least I can hang an aircraft from the ceiling! (Even though I'm bumping me head on things now 'cause there is so much stuff there! :-D )

I'm anxious to see better pics too, well, we all must be! X-D

I like to get sets out and play with them. Not "play" as in making them fight and so forth, but just fiddling with them and checking out all they have to offer.
