I think it will most likely be the red #23 livery and neither the gulf and most certainly not the martini one. I don't think Lego would want to put an alcohol livery in their set primarily aimed at children. Codemasters don't put the Williams martini livery in their games due to the implications that would have on the age ratings.

One really cool thing about the '15-spec 919 is that one of the cars entered at Le Mans (one of the drivers is Mark Webber) had the colors of the #23 917K you're talking about.

Yeah it was, I really liked that livery this year, I wish they had different liveries on the full season entries.

As I mentioned in an earlier post I could see Lego producing the red Webber car from this years LM24, one reason is it's a modern reflection of the #23 917 and two because if they did the white one the livery would be pretty much identical to the 911 from the first speed champions wave.

Does anyone know howmuch the big porsche set will cost?

guessing based on prices that we briefly saw for the other sets that it will be the flagship set of the wave. 79.99 - 89.99 (USD)

I suppose this wave will show up in the same time frame next year as this year's wave? Although I have some nit-picks with the SC cars, overall I like the theme very much and I'm glad to see so many real cars in Lego form (both SC and Creator).

Im really stoked about the R8 LMS and the 919H/917K combo in adition to the R18, sooooo many le-mans goodness. The 458GT2 is my favorite from the 1st series for this very reason.

I do hope the porsche set doesnt end up as expensive as the ferrari truck, if the set ends up the same price as the current porsche GT set ill pick it up though

The big Porsche set (with the 917 and 919) was pegged at $80-90. Nice Price if you ask me.

Was afraid of that.

To me it really depends on what comes with the set, at first i was only interested in the cars, so the porsche GT set felt like two cars with €25 of extra stuff i didnt care about thrown in, which is a bit hard to swallow.

Now though, im planning to do a race track build, so the start/finish stuff and a pit-lane from the 919/917 set might actually be very useful. Still, it's easier to budget in a €40 set then a €90 set if the main attraction is just two cars.

I saw a few people talking about a $100 set. Do we expect that to be a big minfig-scale set of multiple cars, or are you talking about another large-scale car like the Mini and the F40? I was a bit confused this year with the big Ferrari sort of seeming like it goes with the Speed Champions theme but not being branded as such. Either way, I love the bigger cars and would be ecstatic if they turn into a yearly thing.I did like the "proper" Speed Champs cars for the $15 price point, and they have the bonus of being just about the only Lego sets that catch my wife's eye, but I wouldn't buy a $100 "car and a truck" set like the Ferrari trailer rig. Doesn't seem like enough for the money to me.

The porsche 919/917 is likely to be a ferrari truck style set, two cars with a LOT of extra stuff thrown in.

The $100 F40/Mini style sets arent Speed Champion sets, but expert level Creator.

That's pretty much what I thought. I was thrown off because the first I heard of the F40 set was in a Lego Store display where I also got my first good look at Speed Champions, and the two things sort of blended together in my head.
