They still had some left in the LEGO Store in Hamburg yesterday.

According to The Brick Fan, these are already sold out and LEGO won't produce more

Everywhere, where I looked, they were sold out.

When I was in the city center a week ago, 4 out of 5 stores I was in still had them. Haven't been back since.

Oh my God, retired already? The aftermarket prices are going to be INSANE...

My mom just went to France, I wonder if I should have asked her to keep an eye out for these - were they ever spotted in France? In any case, it's kind of sad that all these awesome figures will be gone forever pretty soon!

They were insane from day 1, for the less common figures (Low, Neuer, Boateng, etc).

Doesn't surprise me, unfortunately. I wish people would loosen up on the whole "hoarding for extravagant resale prices" thing, but it keeps happening due to the limited availability of these things, and unfortunately that means that most of us will never be able to afford to have these figures. Oh well! I do feel glad for those lucky enough to have these though!

They where available for 10 days on s@h (max 16 figs) and about 15min in legostore.

I have my complete serie and a few spares, but not as many as I wished (sorry for those who don't have any)

I went to eBay for a müller figure. He's the only one I wanted and $7 was let too bad for it.

I received my New full box and i have sorted out the figures. I got 3 full sets of 16 Players. Are all boxes come with 3 full sets or it is based on Luck!?

Update:

- After Search, Yes!...(Minifig collectors are guaranteed with 3 full sets of 16 for each box )

I have been Left with the Following Extra:

- 1 x Number 7

- 1 x Number 2

- 3 x Number 9

- 2 x Number 18

- 1 x Number 19

- 1 x Number 6

- 1 x Number 13

- 1 x Number 8

- 1 x Number 21

That's a strange distribution. I had the same distribution as mentioned in post #302 on page 13.

To me it seems very odd that you found 6 of one player and 5 of one player and then 4 of 7 players. I have seen this in the very early CMF series where you may have ended up with a box only had two complete series, but nowadays this doesn't seem to occur anymore.

Absolutely gutted I've missed these :( Lego over here told me they'd be available online where I found them, but they were down as out of stock, now they've disappeared. I don't really fancy paying £100 for a set of 16!

I think you got me wrong. I indeed got 3 full sets of 16 and i have listed are the remaining 12 from ( 16+16+16) :)

I checked your distribution and it is same as mine Except for: i have 1 more than you Player number 9 and you have 1 more then me player number 6.

They were available three times from S@H in the UK, each time they went out of stock within 24 hours.

Are you 100% sure you didn't read a torso upside down when you identified them? If not it's probably a mistake from LEGO.

There is a nice poster of this series in the current junior club magazine (same size as the other posters that are sometimes in the club magazine)!

Damn. Just one of those things I guess. I had a colleague of mine check a store in London whilst he was near it today and they told him they were long gone and crazy popular too. I guess I'll just have to slowly but surely pick them up from eBay and Bricklink. Good job I'm getting £100 back from Volkswagen soon!

Yeah.. Low, Neuer and Boateng are going to hurt! I've just made an offer on eBay for Howedes and Kruse, bidding on Kramer already.. damn that went quick haha.

My main focus is DC and Marvel superheroes, but on the side I like to try and collect the more 'themed' minifigure sets like the simpsons, monsters and disney.. there's no way I can pass these up. Just gutted I missed them at normal price. The Doc Ock mech and horrible Killer Croc dentures of doom will have to wait another month or so!
