Sorrelon Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 In previous leaks from this person there have been items from different lines shared at the same time. There could also be some special promotion for the Minifigures Online game that hasn't been revealed yet. There are 2 mythological characters, Hades and Zeus, in Minifigures Online and I'm pretty sure they'll include them in a future CMF series sooner or later. They usually make the same exact minifigure, but there are some exceptions like King and Evil Wizard, both of which look different in the game. By the way, I have the game and if anybody wants I can get a screenshot of Zeus, Hades, zombie football player or any other minifigure from the game. Quote
strangely Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 About the dress in the video being deeper than the torso; you have to consider how 3D animation is created. For the movement effect the animators likely just layered the dress shape over the existing minifigure leg framework instead of creating a new model. This comes from my admittedly limited understanding of the technical aspects of 3D animation discussed on Pixar movie commentaries. Sorry to disappoint, but that's not really how it works. They wouldn't need to layer the dress unless there was a physical pair of legs visible underneath the dress, which there's not as the bottom of the piece is just a flat surface. By framework I'm assuming you mean the skeleton of the model that's used by the animator to create the movement. If that's the case then using the same skeleton for both the dress and legs likely wouldn't work as both pieces move somewhat differently and are an extremely different shape (Not to forget that the leg element is made up of three individual pieces whereas the dress is just one large piece). The dress is also capable of movement that the legs are not, such as the way the dress flutters when Macy runs (like a real dress would). So it's unlikely they used the same skeleton for two wildly different models. From what I can see the piece was intentionally designed with that extra bit of depth. The question is why the animators did this. It could be to match an actual piece. Or it's just artistic license to make the piece look better, which many of the Lego pieces in these shows differ from the physical product for aesthetic reasons, so that's entirely possible too. It's too bad that image of the queen isn't a little bit more detailed. The depth appears to be in line with the torso, but that could just be the way the artist decided to draw it. Quote
BrickFit26 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 A zombie footballer would be a sweet addition to the lineup. I hope he swaps with the astronaut. Zombie football player would be a sweet addition to the lineup specially with zombie cheerleader. but I still want that Astronaut Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Zombie football player would be a sweet addition to the lineup specially with zombie cheerleader. but I still want that Astronaut I find it highly unlikely it would replace the astronaut. The only one I could see it replacing is the "Scary Knight" ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

But I think it's likely the footballer will be in a later wave. Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Remember when we thought the grim reaper would be in series 14? Look how that turned out. I'm afraid that zombie football player actually might replace one of these guys. I still think that the ZFP will come out later somehow, just not in this series. Quote

I don't see how a dark green zombie footballer could get confused for a likely all white or shiny aluminium spacesuit, but I do see how it could get confused for a scary (undead) knight, due to the armour... especially dans la France, where Football means Soccer, and Knights are much more culturally relavent. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

I'm afraid that zombie football player actually might replace one of these guys. I still think that the ZFP will come out later somehow, just not in this series. The confusion came because they named the Bashee as "Smrtka" which means Grim Reaper. But LEGO ifself did it (not the retailer site): http://www.lego.com/cs-cz/minifigures/characters/banshee-71f6129e9bcb4302875d8e4ac49edcaa So, for them the Banshee is the Grim Reaper. There were no translation mistakes. I don't know why on earth they made it that way but that's what it is Quote
Hinckley Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 there already were armored skeletons in the fantasy era line no big deal, that's more or less means the same thing (I'm French) if only it could be a valkyrie .... this chaos warrior looks pretty cool with his unique hairpiece the other one doesn't look bad too, but less original Please do not quote pictures. Thank you. Quote
BrickOn Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I hope the zombie footballer is extra to the ordinary series, that way we get more minifigures. But I kinda hope he's not in a book, there's a limit to how many minifigure books I require. Quote
Borex Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Maybe he'll be in a cube with more figs from other legoseries? They did that with some dc, ninjago and chima figs. Or maybe they'll release a dvd with him and other cmf figs costarring? Quote

Mencot Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Yes, that winged helmet is so what I need. Awesome. Hopefuly the scary knight will look as in the conceptart, although he looks alot like the Lotr Army of the dead solider. Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) I'm thinking this is another Banshee case. Even if LEGO made the same mistake, it's still an incorrect/ambiguous translation. If the reporter saw a low-quality picture, then the visored green helmet and outfit might have been mistaken for a knight, but it's more likely that it's what they called an astronaut, due to the presence of white. I just can't see where else the ZFP would go. Edited October 27, 2015 by 8BrickMario Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Zombie Football Player? That might be the only minifigure I get apart from a few others. I hope he comes with an actual football this time! Quote
Dorayaki Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) Have been quite a long time from this forum... well.... not my ideal list, I personally don't care too much about more counterpart characters. In commercial aspects, it usually says that certain character type has great demands and LEGO is willing to do more varieties to that kind of character. Calamity's hairpice would be eventually reused one day, but I kinda don't think it's the best (or the most luxurious) one for a Queen. Would be nice if they come out an exclusive one like the King or Skyra had. We had several ladies who know to dance before, so some male counterparts would be my preferences, but sadly it may not be the case this time. I suppose that it's gonna be a Ballerina type this time. I'd love to see those mythological characters from the game, but suppose that they're too sepcific for regular CMF series, maybe a regular theme or themed series in a future. Sorrelon Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) Screenshots of Zeus, Hades and any other mythological/fantasy characters would be cool if it isn't too much trouble. Here are the ones I could find:Zeus Hades This character spoke only once and unfortunately I forgot her name. From the looks of her, I think she might be Artemis Charon the Ferryman Oracle Sisters These creatures are called Chill Feather, but in one area they are named as Harpies These creatures are called Breeze Maws. But it is worth to note that one of the areas they inhabit is called Satyr Village. Maybe the Satyr in Series 15 will look like these guys Zombie Football Players These are the bad guys from the space world, Shadow Centurions. Most common ones have ranged and melee variations Shadow Centurion Heavy Gunner Shadow Centurion Technician Edited October 27, 2015 by Sorrelon Quote
8BrickMario Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I think it's clear that these designs are made for the game only, not official figures. I do like the looks of some of them, but they're not official designs. Quote
Sorrelon Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Yes, the ones like Harpies, Shadow Centurions and Oracle Sisters look like they were designed for the game only to me as well. And the Satyr from Series 15 might look different from Satyrs in the game too. But even back when the game was in open beta, besides some minifigures from earlier series, all minifigures from Series 12 and 13 were already in the game, so maybe we will see a few of them in the future series. SpacerSteve Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) OMG I want those shadow centurions. They would make excellent parts for MANTIS troops! The helmets with the lime green printing would be really cool! I know these probably wont come out but I can still hope. At least we still have enough blacktron minifigs for now. I really like the Shark suit guy so far. I hope the astronaut has some classic space icons on it. Edited October 27, 2015 by SpacerSteve Quote

I really like the Shark suit guy so far. I hope the astronaut has some classic space icons on it. I guess they are kind of Blacktron reborn in Minifigures Online. Their vehicles and bases also have the lime and black colour scheme, and most of their vehicles resemble Blacktron ones. Also, at some point, there is an achievement where you can find the diary of the Shadow Centurions' Leader, and there is visible a Blacktron symbol on it. Going through those areas always makes me miss Space sets. While it seems unlikely with the Star Wars movies coming in, I'd love to have a Space theme after all these years. Some of them are - zombie girl and evil knight. So - who knows... Well, most minifigures from series 9,10 and 11, as well as all minifigures from 12 and 13 were already in the game during the open beta, which coincides as the time they recently announced series 12. So they probably didn't mind sharing the series 13 with the game developers before they actually introduce it. Quote
npgcole Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 A lot of them use Statue of Liberty printing and some have LOTR orc face printing, so they're most likely out of the question. Quote
