Itaria No Shintaku Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I could go for a shepherd, or even better, a shepherdess, for the bonnet. That sheep seems to be too vague a hint, though a CMF shepherd(ess) really is long overdue. Is this another clue or legitimate innocent speculation? Something in the gray area between the two. Quote
Blakstone Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I would love a shepherdess as I imagine the print would work as another medieval civilian or fit in any pre-Industrial time period. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Something in the gray area between the two. you mean like the Disney CMF's colour scheme? ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Has anyone checked to make sure the sheep isn't some third party mold? I seem to remember reading that LEGO once cameoed a fan vendor pig in an Indiana Jones video game - could this not possibly be the same case? Quote

CM4Sci Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Weekly random '16 tidbit drop: We're getting a farmer and a pig, haven't heard anything about a sheep. About dang time, finally! So - - Shark Costume Guy - Satyr - Tribal Woman - Farmer w/ pig Quote
Robert8 Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) A farmer with a pig reminds me of the S12 Piggy Guy, who used to be a farmer Edited October 16, 2015 by Robert8 Quote
Actor Builder Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Oh good! A cheap(ish) way to get pigs. Do you know if they are printed with mud spots or not? Thanks. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) Ooh! Pig farmer! Groovy. Thanks for the intel! I'm guessing that means there isn't a sheep planned for this wave. Sad face. so! Contemporary farmer, or medieval farmer? My bet is contemporary, but medieval would be super chill. Either way it sounds good... and raises my hopes that we'll be seeing a shepherd w/sheep in a future wave! A medieval sheep farmer would be a definite army builder, regardless of the type of pig. A contemporary pig farmer would be nice, but whether or not I army build it depends on whether I like the pig. I don't know what they'll do with the pig. I imagine spots. Or maybe it'll be muddy on the bottom. As for accessories, maybe an apple. Or nothing. Pig. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited October 16, 2015 by Dannylonglegs Quote
just2good Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Awesome thing is- supposedly he has dual moulded legs, with blue pants and brown boots. A combo I wanted since dual moulded legs first came about. Quote
Robert8 Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 And that is what Itaria meant with this post: What if series 15 holds not a shepard but something similar? Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) Ah, contemporary then! Sounds good! I like the prospects of a dual modeled blue and brown legs! I just realized we haven't had a violinist yet. now that's something we really need. And that is what Itaria meant with this post: Yup ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited October 16, 2015 by Dannylonglegs Quote

Robert8 Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 I guess he will have a pitchfork and maybe a new hat Or maybe the pig will be new because the current one is kinda big for the CMF's stand Quote
Actor Builder Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I guess he will have a pitchfork and maybe a new hat Ooh! I hope he has a bucket hat! It's not extremely farmer-like, really, but I want one in LEGO. Quote
BrickOn Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Maybe it'll be like Babe where the pig helps round up sheep, so that would kinda be like a shepherd. And if that were the case then the farmer might be wearing a flatcap and the pig (or piglet?) could be in a sitting position to fit on the baseplate. Quote
MAB Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 The number of yellow hips is amazing, I've been after some new ones for ages. It would be great if they did a monochrome series of minifigs. 16 bags, 16 plain minifigs in different colours. Feeling would be redundant as they are all the same. Great for monochrome collectors, and awful for people who insist on keeping a full set sealed. Wishful thinking, I know. Or they could do a special series, monochrome but with the letters L E G O (blank) M I N I F I G U R E S on their torsos. It would look great at the top of a display case. And it works, 16 of them. BrickBob Studpants Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Or maybe the pig will be new because the current one is kinda big for the CMF's stand I agree, the current pig is probably too big as a CMF accessory. Maybe it's a piglet instead? Quote
just2good Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I agree, the current pig is probably too big as a CMF accessory. Maybe it's a piglet instead? Santa's Little Helper is bigger than the pig mould and he's an accessory. Quote

As much as I would love a piglet, I really want a full sized pig. That would prove the possibility of including a sheep in the CMF lines and open the door for a Shepherd figure to be made, featuring a sheep. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

x105Black Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) So, a farmer with a pig. I hope that he'll be useful in a medieval setting. Otherwise, I won't be buying as many of them as I would want to. I'll buy a couple for pigs, but even if I like the pigs, I'd have to find a use for the minifigure to make it a reasonable investment. I'm not sure a modern farmer would have any place in my LEGO world. I greatly appreciate the information drop, but if you know the whole series, spill all of the beans!
