The day a proper guitar, meaning acoustic, appears in CMF, i'm going out for dinner to celebrate. We've had like 4 or 5 designs with yet even more printing, and not a single classic guitar was ever made in LEGO form.

My personal hope is that the zombie footballer is just some promotional for the game and not in the mini figure lineup. Looking at these pictures, I find it highly unlikely he could be confused for a Knight, and even less likely for him to be confused for an astronaut.

Also I don't care for the figure.

And I really hope the Satyrs don't look like that.

Tell me about it! :ugh: at first the new guitar molds were great, but really! A rock guitar is nice, but where's the acoustic love?

We need a violin too! Desperately!

Thanks very much indeed, Sorrelon! Interesting pictures.

As others have mentioned, I believe the S15 satyr will use a recoloured S14 gargoyle's headpiece so the satyr is unlikely to be exactly like the game's version.

As for the game's Greek mythological deities, I don't think they're distinctive enough to be CMFs. If you saw Hades or Zeus out of context, you might not know who they were supposed to be.

I was under the impression the Series 15 Satyr/Faun will have yellow skin, since he is part human and humans in the CMF theme have yellow skin. I doubt he'll bear much resemblance the satyr-like creatures on the MMO. Those guys also look really evil, and I'm hoping for a more carefree and joyful Satyr, playing his pan pipes while carousing the forest...

The only thing that piques me about those MMO figures is Artemis's hairpiece, though I doubt we will ever see a physical mold come to fruition.

I was thinking about the Queen's leg part earlier... I know that the discussion has been pretty cyclical, but I feel that 2x4 is too big with respect to the display plate. Wouldn't such a large piece make the stand irrelevant? Regardless, like Hot Dog Man's suit, the part will make her easy to identify in bags simply because of its size.

Thanks for the pics Sorrelon, they got me hyped up to see the reveal of series 15. Even though zombie football player looks cool, id rather it be the astronaut in this series. An astronaut with a really cool design, something totally new from what we get already now have from regular sets.

Hades, Zeus and those guys were designed just for the game, reusing old CMF parts like Zeus: Roman Emperor headpiece + Lady Liberty Body

Calamity's hairpice would be eventually reused one day, but I kinda don't think it's the best (or the most luxurious) one for a Queen. Would be nice if they come out an exclusive one like the King or Skyra had.

She kind of reminds me of Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen: the hairstyle, the huge dress,...

I just had a thought; if these names are based on descriptions, rather than a translation of official names, I wonder if the kendo guy is actually a baseball catcher. The masks look similar enough that it's a mistake someone could easily make, particularly if they're not from a baseball-watching country. It would be odd to get a kendo fighter after kendo suits already appeared in Ninjago...but I guess that's not unheard of.

You're welcome! I should say that, apart from Artemis, you are right about the Greek mythological deities. But the thing is, the game versions of Classic King and Evil Wizard were also different. While they kept the other minifigures exactly same, they changed the looks of Classic King and Evil Wizard for the physical minifigures. So, if they decide to introduce them in future series, they might do a few tweaks before doing that. Also, since they aren't all no-no to recolouring the old parts for new minifigures *coughladycyclopscough* they might just recolour the Lady Liberty torso and legs for Zeus and Hades.

Exactly, I also prefer the cheerful sort of satyr with a pan flute to an evil looking one that swings swords and casts fireballs. However, I've been thinking of the hairpiece they used in the game. Since almost everything in the game is made of Lego parts that exist(except having a narrower colour palette), they might use the same piece for the Series 15 Satyr. The thing is, I've never seen that hairpiece in any sets before. It is kind of similar to the witch doctor hairpiece from the old Western sets, but not the same.

You're welcome! I also hope for an astronaut instead of a zombie football player in Series 15. I hope it won't be too similar to the Spaceman from Series 1, but something entirely different and will fit in nicely to Space sets and MOCs.

So sexy! I love that head mould! Simply adorable!:excited: also, much more appropriate than the gargoyle's headpiece, I must say.

Now... unfortunately, this does make it more likely that we won't see a new leg mould, which is what I was really hoping for. But still. This headpiece is awesome!

And if we do get a new leg piece, then I'm definitely doubting well get a pan flute! but that is not a problem for me!

There's a surprise! I was hoping he'd have a new headpiece, but I didn't think they'd actually make one! The ears are apparently a different color molded in, so the horns will be painted. Interesting ear shape, too.

Looks like we're getting a new headmould for the faun too.

Oh, it's not a Gargoyle reuse. That's good.

I guess this means the "fantasy character using a mould from the previous 2 waves" prediction was wrong? Or perhaps referring to the Queen's reuse of the king's cape?...

I know for a fact whoever said that (had to be Itaria) was referring to the Satyr. I thought it'd use it too, but I guess not.

There's also a solid yellow Bumblebee Girl hat mold on there, but I don't see how it could be reused.

That new head mold for the Faun is just wow. I was also expecting they would use gargoyle's headpiece, but this new mold is very well done. I hope he comes with a new accessory like a flute.

Sorrelon, I also hope the astronaut is something completely different. Something unexpected.

That new headpiece looks great! I wonder will it be thrown into a future Elves set?

I hope so! Then we'd have it in fleshy colours too!

But I doubt it. I think all mini doll hairs are new molds and use a squishier plastic/rubber.
