Seeing all them on display with their stands makes me like this series even more now.

Winged warrior is amazing! Everything gold just looks great, definitely getting him.

Animal control specialist is ok, expected a guy but a female works better. I really like that arm printing on the sleeve representing a pocket. Sand green sleeves look amazing. That skunk also looks great

Laser robot really disappoints me, but I love his color scheme. Those trans blue wings look awesome, why the elemental blade though?

Janitor looks just as I expected him to look. That mop works great on the wand piece. Loving the sand blue sleeve printing. Interesting minifigure and the sand blue is a nice color.

Jewel thief is a female, just what I though it would be. Useful catwoman torso and I love that hair piece in black. Good to see that mask printing for a female.

Farmer looks decent, that pig has new printing which is nice, the green color stands out to me, like the dual molded legs.

Astronaut, I really like this one. Something about that arm printing really makes me like it. That flag is perfect, I will get him for sure.

Knight is a big surprise. That mace is perfect for hawkman. That shoulder armor piece is nice, not new but it's good we're getting it again.

Satyr has new legs! I wasn't expecting it at all. That torso is very useful, love that new head piece. Great minifigure and I'm definitely getting him.

Shark suit guy, I like it, those arms look great. I will get him.

Queen looks better now. That dress piece is great. Love how she matches the king.

Wrestler has the printed champ, I knew it. His mullet hair piece is hilarious, although I like it. Like his dual molded legs and he is definitely based on ultimate warrior.

Dancer is a ballerina, I called it. Not the best looking minifigure but that dress piece is new.

Tribal lady looks just how I thought she would. Arm printing is a nice surprise. The baby piece is a nice inclusion. Definitely the best female of the series.

Kendo warrior's color scheme is great. Beige katanas look amazing. I really this minifigure.

Crutches guy doesn't have new arms, not a surprise. Now it looks like he's holding it correctly. An ok fig, probably won't get.

Not the best series, but it has some really good ones.

Is that even Sand Blue? Looks Dark Bluish Grey to me, though I would definitely prefer Sand Blue!

To be honest, only the Satyr seems like a candidate, so he can play his flute. Double faces are very scarce in this theme, and the last series didn't have any!

Loving the Janitor, Farmer (very nice hat), Astronaut and maybe the animal control officer. The guy with the crutches is also potentially useful if I ever do anything medical again.

This wave has more up sides than down one's.

I guess the spaceman is a down, because it seems a reboot of an earlier collectable minifig oh except the flag - yeah, big deal.

The up side, try the queen, dancer, cleaner, clumsy guy (banana t-shirt LOL), the list goes on and of course a baby - AWESOME series this time round best I say in the last five releases.

Before I go into this, I should mention I collect six "brackets" of CMF - Sci Fi, Warrior, Monster, Mythology, Hobbist (namely extreme sports or someone who does a form of martial arts or fighting) and Costume. As a result, the "City" figures - in this case Animal Control, Janitor, Jewel Theif, Farmer, Dancer and Clumbsy/Crutches Guy - also almost always an instant pass for me, unless they coincide with something I have an interest in. I may get the Jewel Theif when I see more of her but that remains to be seen. As for the figures who fall into my "groupings"

Sci Fi

• Laser Robot - A little dissapointed they've gone with that design again but I like the parts and the elemental sword. I may give it a hilt as it doesn't look like it comes with one though.
  
• Astronaut - Not sure on this one. I'm tempted to get him for my "Sci Fi" collection, but he does look more civilian than the others. I may wait for the review.
  

Warrior

• Knight - Looks great to me, especially with the new mace and shoulder armour. Will defiently get him.
  
• Queen - On the one hand I feel I should get her as a companion for the King. On the other hand, I treat the King as a "Warrior" and she doesn't look like one. I may get her anyway and give her a sword she can stand shoulder to shoulder with my Warrior King.
  
• Tribal Lady - Again, mixed. I had hoped I could add her to the tribal side of my warriors, adding in some much needed gender diversity. I may bin the baby and replace it with a bow and arrow.
  

Mythology

• Winged Warrior - This guy looks amazing!
  
• Satyr - As a "mythology" figure he was an automatic buy and I love what I've seen so far.
  

Hobbist

• Wrestler - He looks like an excellent tribute to the Ultimate Warrior. I never watched wrestling growing up but have watched enough YouTube Reviewer videos to get an appreciation for how loopy this guy was.
  
• Kendo Warrior - A little dissapointed they went with katanas instead of a bokken or shinai. While I've not trained in Kendo I was under the impression it never used actual swords (or at least these days). Saying that the swords do look good in beige but I may replace them with the staff from the Ninjago range as I feel it would make an excellent bokken/shinai.
  

Costume

• Shark Suit Guy - Will defiently be getting him.
  

I am aware the Queen and Tribal Women aren't technically warriors and it's more my modifications that would classify them as such. I'd have prefered it if they fitted into that grouping by default but I realise I'm probably in the minority.

Alright, now to analyze!

Winged Warrior - Lots of gold. Nice to get gold wings and the Chima harness, woulda been nice to have at least one when I built my fortress...

Animal Control Officer - Another dark brown ponytail doesn't bother me. I like the new net and the skunk is nice.

Laser Robot - Ehhh it's nice. Printed blade is cool.

Janitor - LOVE it. That mop is awesome. I wish he had a bucket to go with it.

Jewel Thief - I expected it her to be different, honestly. I knew it'd be a woman, but I wanted the beret, pearl necklace, all that. I'm surprised she didn't use the new grappling hook piece from the BVS set.

Farmer - I like it. Pig is nice, I don't have one of those yet.

Astronaut - It's different from the City ones, I'll give it that. All the printing is nice too.

Scary Knight - I love the mace, hope that's a removable piece from the 'supposed' 3 stud bar.

Satyr - Sooo cool. New legs are a plus, they're kinda bulky though. These images aren't the best so I'll have to wait to see the final product. Hairpiece is cool.

Shark Guy - Hmm, best of the series maybe..? I don't like the giant tail fin, I wish that wasn't there.

Queen - Dress piece is cool.

Wrestling Champion - Eh, I dunno. Mullet is nice, I don't recall a trophy being a wrestling prize, thought it was just belts but HEY, I don't watch wrestling.

Ballerina - The tutu is awesome. Figure overall is very nice.

Tribal Woman - Don't like how she has the old hairpiece, but it fits. The decorated feather is veeerry nice. The baby is SO cool It can be attached on the back so that's awesome too.

Kendo Fighter - I don't get the hate for this guy, I think he looks awesome. Dark blue is really cool.

Clumsy Guy - Yeeouch, those crutches. The bandages look too thin. The figure overall is nice, though, I just don't like some bits.

So those are my thoughts on this series. Can't wait to see how S16 turns out!

The kendo fighter would have been a bit better if they had given him silver shirukens

Top three? Probably Classic Queen, Satyr, and Ballerina. The Jewel Thief, Winged Warrior, and Laser Robot aren't far behind. Least favorites are probably the Animal Control, Farmer, and Astronaut for being boring designs.

I think the elemental blade is supposed to be an energy blast, not a sword. And the mace looks like one solid piece.

Oooh the pics! the pics!

This seems like a real classic cmf-series to me. For everyone a few interesting figs.

Janitor - Love him. By the way, the mop can be used both ways. Up and down. Smart. But can it be used as a minifig head?

Laser Robot - Are his wings new? I think these (recolored) will work for a movie Falcon (Avengers). Maybe the faceprint is nice though. I'm not feeling him.

Skunk lady - Useful fig for city fans. She can catch stray dogs and such and once in a while a skunk. The skunk is the hero in this bag. The net and hairpiece are the losers. Will the skunk reappear in a forest city set?

Winged Warrior - Yes, great figure!

Evil Knight - His mace is great, and the colours too. I just might get one of these.

Astronaut - I do like him. A lot of printing going on and it has an iconic feel (maybe because of the flag?).

Farmer - He's ok i guess. My guess is that there will be a lady farmer in next series with maybe a sheep or some chickens to complete him.

Jewel thief - I like the idea more than the fig.

Wrestler - Would have loved a champion belt piece, but i think this fig is really funny. Love the hair.

Queen - The king and queen will look beautiful together. I don't have the king, so i dont need the queen. Cool, that they've tried something new regarding the dresspiece.

Sharkman - Hah, although i'm getting a bit tired of the costumes i still want them. They look like a bunch of goofy wacky superheroes. The Crusading Animal Super Squad.

Faun - Great figure! His legs are awesome, his headpiece too. If there is one fig i'll buy multiple of, then it's this guy. I wish we had these legs on the unicorn costume.

Clumsy guy - Oh lego please give us banana costume guy in next series! I don't really like the crutches, but he's a nice addition to the series.

Kendo guy - decent, but not my cup of tea.

Tribal woman - Owww that baby is so cute. Might be getting her, but i am not sure why (must be the baby).

Ballerina dancer - Nice tutu. I expect lego to reuse this mould for maybe a dance school or a theatre.

In the end i will buy the Faun, the Winged Warrior, Shark dude, the Janitor and maybe the Wrestler, the Knight and Clumsy guy.

Disappointing that the thief has yellow skin on the torso, was hoping to use it on CW Black Canary :/

But I like that the knight has the new spiked ball piece, I would like to see how it's used other than on maces.

Favorites:

Winged Warrior- I don't think we've seen this much gold on a minifigure since the Temple of Atlantis set - this one would look great next to the Battle Goddess.

Shark Guy- Yes! LEGO hasn't been disappointing us with these costumed figures.

Satyr- Great to see another mythology figure, and the legs look new.

Least Favorites:

Clumsy Guy- Can't think of any use for this figure.

Janitor- That mop piece just looks weird.

Queen- The new dress piece is ... odd. I think the regular slope piece looks better.

For those calling the Kendo fig's weapons katanas, they have the square guard, so are recognized as shamshir (the word is both singular and plural). I can't tell which model it is though, 21459 or 30173b.

The Knight has the same shield mold as the Egyptian Warrior, just held the other way.

I'm very impressed with this series. I am overjoyed to finally get a pig at a price point I can afford! And am super excited to get the skunk too, I really wouldn't mind if they regularly threw in animals like this (2 in this series!).

I don't know why, but I love the astronaut. He's so simplistic and yet awesome! And they really outdid themselves on the Queen, Satytr and Ballerina. All the new molds are better than I expected (And more than I expected, I didn't really think we'd see a new mold for the Satyr).

Love the color choices for the wrestler. Hope we get a few more in future CMF's.
