Eh didn't we get them yesterday.

I'm talking about Lego revealing them on Facebook. We've seen bag, box, and full display pictures. We have not seen them officially, we were lucky to see those pictures the past few days.

What are you guys top 5 figs?

1. Satyr

2. Shark Suit Guy

3. Scary Knight

4. Tribal Woman

5. Queen

Kind of hard to pick 5, as I actually like quite a few of these. But most I only like for a piece or 2, so I chose the top 5 that I like enough as-is.

Honorable Mentions: Winged Warrior and Wrestling Champion.

Looks to me like the Satyr does have a tail. If you open up the hi-res version of that last group shot, and zoom it in, it appears that there is something of a tail's tip to be seen jutting from his back at the rear of the plate-stand.

The series feels like an even mixture, between new, original characters that needed to be finally made, and then those fig designs left-over from different departments over the years that, for whatever reason, never really made it into production, in a set or individually, but that were still favorites of their respective design teams. Like, "Hey guys, we only have half of the slots filled for the next CMF series, so, if you got a fig mock-up that never made the cut, submit it now or let it RIP..."

And with the astronaut represented again, it does seem to maybe be a signal for the ending of a certain CMF "era", and the transition into a new one. A house-cleaning...

16 might be the magic number.

I don´t think so.

Satyrs usually were shown with an smaller goat tail, which couldn´t be seen from that perspective.

And there is no tail-part bulit in between legs and torso, as seen with Tiger Woman, Wolf Guy or Scratchy.

I think, it´s more something like a heel or a back toe or something like that...

I would prefer the ballerina hair in another color for Animal Control.

Not sure. Did doing the same part(hairpiece) in alternative colors for multiple characters save the cost? Or, would a recolored Paleontologist hat fit on the Controller?

Sumo's bun seems to lack the "fineness" for girls who supposed to look pretty. I would prefer to see Padme's short bun reused for this Dancer.

I kind of wish Tribal Woman's baby had color printing to detail what the baby is wrapped in tribal designs just like her.

American Indian cradleboards often were rather plain, so I'm fine with it. Plus, it makes the baby slightly more versatile.

Yes. Agree at 100%. She looks like a child with the Sumo bun. Sadly, I don't have the Padme's bun :sceptic:

And with the astronaut represented again,

Huh?

Again?

When did they make the first one? :look:

I've never seen an Astronaut with a ray gun

The Series 1 Spaceman is a Sci-Fi character. A guy who lives in the space. Think on the Jetsons or something.

The S15 Astronaut is a City character. I mean, he is inspired in a real life job.

I'm not going to say they don't look alike, because they do. But they are very different characters.

That would actually be much, much better for many different figures. Has that Padme´s hairpiece been used outside of SW?

Agreed on this. Yes they do look alike but this has to do with a realistic astronaut fig equaling a "City" fig and that we haven´t had yet in CMFs.

Yes. It was used on the Detective’s Office set

I see everyone talking about their favorites, but who's the worst minifigure of the series?

To me, I would say either the Farmer or the Animal Control Officer. If it weren't for the animals, there wouldn't really be anything that appealing (although the hat and net are nice).

Since they do have the animals, that boosts them up a bit, and to me the worst 5 are the Clumsy Guy, Ballerina, Janitor, Jewel Thief, and Laser Robot (although the head wrap, mop, and black hair are nice).

For me, it's the wrestler. I never watched pro wrestling, and unlike almost every other minifig, he has no parts that I could use elsewhere.

So he's been in space for a few months, and he's developed a scowl and gotten a hold of a ray-gun. And he hasn't seen a check from The City in a while now. I guess I never really thought too much about it...

But I digress, and in some ways I may even agree. You see, I'm also one who would argue that the Tiger Woman doesn't belong grouped in with the "costumed" characters. I don't perceive her as a woman in a suit, not a furry, but rather, as a 60's character, much in the same manner as you do the astron-, eer, I mean, spaceman.
