They had some at Target over this last week here in Nebraska. But they sold out quickly obviously. I only checked one Target though, so I don't know if they were put out at the others or at TRU (I never go there).

So there is hope for finding some early.

Agreed, at first glance I wasn't impressed by him, but the level of detail, especially when I compare him to series 1 astronaut, is excellent.

Thats how i was too, when I first saw him i wasn't impressed, but once I saw all the detail i loved it.

Just a question about CMF boxes in general.

Has every box the same content ? I bought many boxes and they all had the same content leaving me with the same spares. The numbers are axact the same as in the review of whitefang. So I guess all boxes have the same content.

Ha, yo answered your own question  They're indeed the same.

Turned up at my local WHSmiths today

Where in the UK is your local WHS?

Ten more.

Are your astronauts in distress? Most of them are flying their flags upside-down. Is that to save themselves the embarrassment of having turned up in the same outfit?

The case ratios have always been the same, with the exception of Mr Gold back in Series 10.

No, they haven't. Series 3 had boxes with two different distributions.

Source? I'd never heard that when I was collecting Series 3.

Well, in the original review, Whitefang got 2 Fishermen.

In this thread, http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=53391, people mentioning finding at least three per box (although it is not clear if they opened the boxes themselves).

I bought a sealed box in Jan 2011 and got four.

It is also discussed here, for example, http://brickset.com/...rent-to-the-usa, where it was thought that European boxes were being packed with a different distribution to USA ones. But distributions of four fishermen were also found in the USA. It seems that the early boxes (and Whitefang's would have been an early one) had only 2 fishermen, whereas later runs had 4 fishermen.

Not surprisingly, it was also reflected in the availability and secondary market price of fishermen. They were hard to get and expensive on BL, then became rather common and cheap at a faster rate than the others in the series. (I know they all start off with smaller numbers and more expensive at the start, then gradually drop as the set is more widely available and still in stores.)

I'm in the San Francisco bay area, and none of the Targets, TRUs, Walmarts, CVSs, of Walgreens I've checked have series 15 yet. I'm still seeing plenty of series 14 monsters, though.

I'm in the north Bay Area, nothing up here yet. All of the series 14 is gone though...

Two boxes in a toy shop in my town (Wexford, Ireland) - I got the clumsy guy and samurai. I want want want the wrestler and the Native American lady.

Anyone on here from US, actually finding these in stores?

I think a select few have been lucky, but mostly no. They're scheduled to be released in February. So I'm guessing that if they do show up early, it probably won't be until the last week of January.
