Got the winged warrior with a few extras. Although it was complicated, there was a sign labled "2 per guest." So I had to make two transactions and get 4. Are any other toysrus doing this exact same thing? I think it's ridiculous.

No sign of Series 15 in the Apex/Morrisville NC Targets near Cary. Aargh! They claim that a third party supplies the LEGO and that they have nothing to do with it. It just comes when it comes. Has anyone heard this before? My first time, and I find it hard to believe. Target has little say as to what is on their LEGO shelves? I would like a couple of ballerinas and a shark suit guy. Guess that will have to wait. My only store gifts cards left are at Target, so Target it will be.

Have you tried the Cary Crossroads Target? I'm in Garner and they have a ton of Series 15 at White Oak Target.

I just called the Burnsville TRU and the Mall of America store, and they both sold out within the first 3 days. Seriously. . .

That's why you have to go on day 1!

Tried a Minneapolis Target - guy brought out a full case of Monsters figures. Never thought I'd hate seeing a series but I'm getting tired of seeing these 2. We checked the stocks of nearby stores (one had 1200...) and he said that because they use the same DPCI it makes it a lot more difficult. He suggested calling other Targets but calling Target is such a pain in the butt because they take forever and they probably wouldn't be much help.

So for now, I'm stuck with no figs. Mark my words, I will have them by the end of February. Why did it have to be a February release...

If you're going to give in to the urge to amass a particular CMF, now is probably as good a time as any. While prices of some CMFs do eventually go down due to sales or lack of popularity on the secondary market, I don't see the S15 Knight being one of them. Kids love knights and it's an obvious army builder for AFOLs. So go for it now while there's maximum availability.

I have never seen a CMF line in such numbers this far after the release..except maybe series 7, which seemed to be far over-produced, and then series 8 was under-produced. I think a critical error was not including any good army builders in the monster series. I really loved the figs, but there was nothing I had any urge to collect in mass quantities.

In regards to the Feb release, it is really frustrating how they've gone from a quarterly release schedule to almost monthly.

Jan - new TFA sets

Feb - CMFs (should have been Jan, was in Europe)

March - new OT sets (should have been Jan, was in Europe)

April - I assume 2nd quarter releases

May - Hoth UCS (should have been OCT 2015)

Finally got my mitts on an Astronaut and a Faun. I cannot find a laser mech or a jewel thief to save my life though :( My feeling technique is poor I think.

This series has been a whole lot easier to feel for than I expected. Now that I'm down to Knights and Winged Warriors to feel for, it's a piece of cake! (As long as those tricksy astronauts don't get in the way)

I finally got the astronaut and knight with another collector's help at Target. I also got a second knight (whom we thought was the Faun) and the animal control lady.

They also had several Series 13 of which I got the Galaxy Trooper and Sheriff. I wanted the hotdog guy but couldn't find him. I figured he's very hard to get nowadays.

I'm done with Series 15. I may end up trading my extra knight.

In addition to the minifigs pictured above, I also used various parts from S15 with existing minifigs in my collection. For example, I replaced my S6 genie's hands with the mech's medium azure ones, used a spare winged warrior's head on an elf, put the astronaut's flag on a white antenna ( http://alpha.brickli...age?P=3957b#T=C ) next to a yellow-suited Classic Space astronaut, and used the jewel thief's head under this Catwoman's mask: http://alpha.brickli...lor=11#T=C&C=11 - it really looks like it was as TLG intended. I don't have a picture of them, I'm afraid.

Just got Astronaut instead of knight lol, was too quick was a bit in a hurry and picked the rod on which flag is for Astronaut and said this should be from mace of the knight, sigh....

I finally found these guys today, and picked up the Queen and the Faun. I love them!

I am struggling with laser mech too, partially because I did't really feel the need to grab one straight away and so it was low priority when I was going through boxes on my first few trips and now I am just too lazy to look for it. Had I have know it was harder to locate I would have been on the look out earlier since there are only three to the box. I was lucky with jewel thief though, found her fairly easily (twice), the grappling hook was the easiest bit to locate.

I just need the laser mech and wrestler to complete the set and I have multiples of the queen, tribal girl and scary knight. The only one I fancy picking up extras of now is the faun and maybe clumsy guy and perhaps one more winged warrior. :-) Oh and I have decided that my mum is collecting animal suit characters so I will pick up shark guy for her, I am sure she will be pleased.

Picked up the last ones on my list today: 2 more Scary Knights (total of 3 now) and Winged Warrior. I might still want to pick up a faun, but I don't really have much use for him.

Still amazed at the how consistently fantastic this series has been, I hope s16 is just as good (although my wallet hopes not!)

Does anyone else have problem with the mop pieces? When I want to use it in the "not used" way, the end of the stick, where it has a thicker part cannot be hidden inside the mop because it barely holds! I have to use the stick upside down when the thicker part is near the bottom, but it looks silly..
