Robert8 Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 Series 15 is definitely more popular/more in demand than Monsters was. Here in Ireland, every toy shop I go to seems to have a single Series 15 box which tends to be basically cleared out - and most toy shops also have a box or multiple boxes of Monsters which are practically still full. I actually found a toy shop out on my adventures that had 3 full boxes of Monsters and only a single box of Series 15. Same here But Halloween is not THAT popular here, so I think that's why Quote
BrickFit26 Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 If these place that still have the monsters would discount them then they might be able to move that stock. I wouldn't mind buying them for cheaper. The knight and faun are both great figures, and I think the knight is one of the best army builders in my opinion. I have gotten quite a few of him but I'm wanting more. I wish they would discount them after being out while another new series is out, but they never do. I love the knight, you're right, he's a great army builder, & so is the flying warrior. Quote

Red nightwing Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Only had one pack before buy picked a couple more up today due to a deal.Have to say both shark suit guy and jewel thief are great figures. Quote
Forresto Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 The monsters were amazing, one of the few series I wanted every figure in. I managed to grab 3 flytraps, a mad scientist, and a flyman! Quote
rodiziorobs Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) Went back to my Target today hoping to score some Disney figs in advance of the street date, but alas they didn't have them yet. However, with the reduced price I couldn't help but pick up a few more S15 that I had skipped earlier--got a Faun, Farmer, and Wrestling Champ. Thought of getting more (another one or two Frightening Knights or Ballerinas, perhaps), but they also had Mixels for $1 off, so I grabbed some of those instead. Have to say, this series has been the best so far. I only started into CMFs at about series 11 (I think?), but never before have I felt an urge to have almost every one if a series. Not for a complete collection or anything (almost everything I get ends up parted out, including CMFs), but because each fig is so great on its own, with fantastic parts as well. (And luckily, my feeling skills so far are still at 100%! ) Edited April 24, 2016 by rodiziorobs Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 I went to target yesterday hoping to find S15 and not disney on the shelves, and the rack was still full! 3 more knights and an astronaut for the discounted price! Now I have my biggest army built CMF force (5 knights) Quote

telaruhn Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I have 5 Flying Warriors and 5 Laser Mechs. I keep considering buying more, but I don't know how many would be enough... They both look great in groups, especially the Laser Mech. Also, the wings on both make a big difference! Quote

I wasn't too impressed with the Laser Mech initially, but once I got one my opinion changed. It's really not too bad of a figure and I would like to get a few more. Kind of reminds of a costume from TRON. Quote

I secretly wished most people think the same way (not impressed) when I was hunting for these laser mech because the torso prints are so epic without the armour I got about half a dozen now.. hope to use it in my space MOC for TRON inspired motif. Robert8 Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 I think there is human inside or something It's the LEGO Collectible Humans line Quote
Robert8 Posted May 4, 2016 Author Posted May 4, 2016 Someone said it's "Megalodon Suit Guy" and I totally lost it there Quote
obsidianheart Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Is that where the promotional giant figs come from? Quote
pittpenguin123 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?????!!!!!!!!!!!! And i cant even get my hands on the small bags! Quote
telaruhn Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Whoa! What a big bag! It's interesting that the Farmer is on the bag instead of the Laser Mech. Seems like a last minute change to me. Quote
Umbra-Manis Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 That is so bizarre! Where did that come from? Quote
Actor Builder Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Jokes on you guys thinking it's a giant bag; it's a normal bag with a bunch of tiny bags. Quote
Robert8 Posted May 5, 2016 Author Posted May 5, 2016 It's real. As telaruhn pointed out, the Farmer is there instead of the Laser Mech, so it can't be a camera trick But.... What's inside that thing? Quote
x105Black Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 My guess, nothing is inside and it is a promotional or marketing display piece. Quote
8BrickMario Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I thought they did giant packets before for promotional stuff, so filling one with regular bags seems like the next step. The Series 14 thread had a picture of the giant packet in it. Quote
